Chapter 30

In the end, Jessica followed Blake to his car.

The teachers were at the entrance to send her off, and a lot of them did not even know what kind of car he drove. All they knew was that the car looked nice and must be expensive.

“Whoa, Ms. Scott’s husband is this rich?”

“The sleekness of the car alone shows how expensive it is.”

“Maybe…Ms. Scott’s husband is a chauffeur for some big boss?”

The car drove off, but Blake’s car accidentally went over a pothole in the road, causing the vehicle to jolt a little. Blake looked even gloomier.

On the other hand, Dean watched the car drive away from his sight. The disappointment that he tried holding back slowly emerged again.

‘So, she’s married…No wonder she kept her distance from me.’

…

Blake was already angry before he went to see Jessica while she was not in a good mood either. The moment they reached home, she went back to her room.

Blake drank some cold water from the refrigerator, but even the icy cold water failed to extinguish the burning rage within him.

He opened Jessica’s door and found that she was changing. She was halfway taking off her shirt, and when Blake barged in, she quickly fastened her shirt tightly around herself.
