Chapter 34
October 22, 2026
“Come here,” Blake commanded.
Jessica was surprised, but she stood up. While she was walking to him, he switched off the iPad and tapped on the bed beside him.
“Sit.”
When she sat down beside him, he lay down on her lap and closed his eyes. He said softly, “Give me a massage.”
He was always like this whenever he had a headache. He was like a tiger having a toothache. While he might be fierce, he could barely bite, which made him look pitiful.
Jessica did as she was told and massaged him. His hair was still damp after the shower, so she took her hairdryer out from the drawer and dried it for him.
As her slender fingers were moving swiftly across his black hair, the smell of aftershave and shampoo tickled her nose.
After massaging him for a while, he suddenly grabbed her by the wrist. Jessica looked down at him and he said, “Are you done being mad?”
Jessica looked down at him. Two pairs of black eyes stared at each other while her heart was pounding fiercely.
‘Mad? Don’t make it sound so ugly. It’s hurtful…’
Although she had never been a normal woman, she was able to ascend to the position of Mrs. Ferguson with her unyielding will. She was his biggest insult that tainted his life and humiliated him, the God-chosen one. Why would she be mad? He should be mad instead of her.
She slowly moved her hands away from his head, and just when she wanted to stand up, his strong hand held her tightly, stopping her from moving. His other hand curled around her waist and pulled her beneath him.
Less than a second later, his burning lips swam around her neck, and soon, their clothes were tossed onto the floor.
…
After sex, Jessica did not wash up immediately. She stared at the ceiling and waited for her breath to calm down. Maybe because she had made a habit out of it in the past two years, she lifted the blanket, but Blake curled his hands around her waist and pulled her back.
He climbed on top of her again and said, “Jessica, you should know that I’m your only support in the family. You should learn how to flatter me more, understand?”
