Chapter 159 How Long Is Your Love??

A long while later, their lips finally separated.

Mark looked at Lyla and said, “This is both the least satisfying and the most satisfying kiss.”

Lyla blushed and started to avert his gaze. “They are still waiting downstairs, I have to go!”

She wanted to leave but at that moment, Mark grabbed her hand and pinned her on the wall again. They locked eyes and Mark said affectionately, “Just a little more.”

Lyla looked at him. “Stop meddling around!”

Despite saying as such, she sounded like she was asking to be pampered.

“Then kiss me,” Mark said.

“I don’t want to!”

“Then I’ll wait until you want to kiss me.”

Lyla was helpless. In the end, she moved closer and kissed him but before she could touch his lips, Mark turned the situation around by kissing her first.

His lips rammed into her soft lips and ravaged it.

After a long while, he finally let her off.

Lyla’s face was as red as an apple. She pushed him away and said, “Behave! I’m going down!”

She then walked out of the room.

This time, Mark let her go with a smile. He grinned as he watched her disappear from his sight.

His bad mood was instantly lightened up.

Downstairs.

Emmy and Lily were playing with Gretel and the group had forgotten about Lyla and Mark.

When Lyla came down, they finally switched their attention to her.

“Wow, so fast?”

“Fast and furious I see.”

Both Emmy and Lily asked in one voice and at the same time, Mark came down with a happy look.

Emmy and Lily both looked at each other.

Emmy then looked at Mark with a suspicious gaze. “Mark, really? You are that fast?”

She then slowly moved her gaze down his lower body and glued it at his pelvic.

Mark reacted with a gloomy look. “We were just talking!”

“Really?” Emmy smiled. The look on her face obviously said that she did not believe him.

Lyla walked over, grabbed a pillow, and tossed it at her face. “What are you thinking! Can you clean up your thoughts a little!”

“Then you shouldn’t be that sus!”

Lyla rolled her eyes white. “Are you still having dinner?!”

“Okay, okay! Fine! I’m over it!” Emmy gave in because she wanted to stay for Hansel’s dinner. She did not even argue for a bit but right after she gave in, she unintentionally glanced over Mark.

The suspicious gaze from Emmy almost made Mark regret his decision. He should not let Lyla come down.

It was then Hansel said, “Dinner is ready!”

Emmy and Lily bolted up and strode to the dining table.

Both of them were in awe of the dishes prepared by Hansel, they found it difficult to eat the perfectly decorated dishes. They looked and smelled amazing!

“My dear, thank you for the dinner,” Emmy said.

“Not a problem, as long as you enjoy it!” Hansel said with a smile. The little gentleman in him could easily melt hearts.

“You are the best, my dear!”

“Dear, baby, love, you make it sound like he’s really your baby!” Mark could not hold back his jealousy.

Emmy did not mind at all. She argued, “You have no idea. Now, he’s not only your son but also my son! Am I right, little man?”

Mark was speechless.

Emmy sounded like she was really talking to her own blood and flesh.

Mark looked at Hansel. “What’s that supposed to mean?”

“Daddy, Emmy, and Lily took me as their godson!” Hansel said.

Godson?

Mark looked at the two ladies.

Emmy welcomed his gaze proudly and was proud of what Hansel said.

Mark frowned. “You shouldn’t simply take anyone as your godmother.”

Emmy found his words displeasing. She argued, “Mark, what is that supposed to mean?”

Mark did not want to argue, he pulled the chair out and sat himself down.

Emmy did not want to let him go. “Mark, you better explain yourself!”

Hansel quickly intervened by saying, “Mommy Emmy, daddy doesn’t mean it. You know my daddy has a vicious tongue but his words are harmless.”

“Right, daddy?” Hansel looked at Mark.

Mark sat down without explaining.

Emmy was persistent. She looked at Lyla and said, “Should you do something about it? If not, this won’t end easily!”

Lyla shrugged. “I’d suggest that you beat him because he doesn’t hit women. I think you have the upper hand now.”

Mark reacted sourly at those words. The woman he loved did not even hesitate to ditch him and side with her friend.

Emmy grinned. “Right, I guess you are right!”

Mark looked at her. “Don’t push it, woman, I don’t want to hit you!”

“I thought you would hit me, come on!” Emmy tried to provoke Mark by poking him.

“You!”

“What!”

“Fine! I’ll stay away!” Mark then got up and sat on the other side.
