Chapter 202 Bound To Be My Woman

Kathleen smiled confidently, she ignored everyone’s strange gazes on her and just did what she needed to do calmly.

Mark and Lyla also saw through everyone's thoughts, but they just looked at each other without saying anything.

Regarding Kathleen, they all knew that the reason she was back this time was not that simple. However, they did not know what her purpose was, so they could only observe and take things one step at a time.

“What do you think?” Lyla raised her eyebrows and whispered in his ear.

“No thoughts!” Mark did not care much.

“I think everyone must be secretly saying that the place you’re best at is not in a business scenario, but in an event where you would let your ex-girlfriend and current girlfriend coexist. Not only that, neither of them have anything to say!” Lyla just showed a smile when she said this. It was different to tell whether what she said was a praise or a criticism.

Mark raised his eyebrows casually as he heard this. “Are you jealous?”

“What do you think?”

“I hope you are!”

“Why?”

“At least that’ll mean that you care about me!”

“It’s not like I don’t care about you!”

“Well, I don’t feel it strongly enough!” Mark said as he smiled. The two of them just stood there, yet they looked like they were a husband and wife discussing things.

‘My care huh…?’

Lyla smiled slightly, looked at him, and stretched out her hand to pinch him.

Mark frowned in pain. “You --”

“How is it? Do you feel it?” Lyla asked with a smile. Even if it was a deliberate, mischievous smile, it still made Mark’s heart beat quickly.

Mark gritted his teeth and nodded. “I feel it!”

Lyla could not help but laugh out loud.

The two of them were not chatting loudly. However, in the eyes of an outsider, they looked like they were flirting, so they were very eye-catching.

The banquet continued. Many people came forward to congratulate them and were also curious about Lyla. She was now able to stand by Mark’s side, but no one dared to ask.

After all, Mark’s expression would change even if they just took an extra look at Lyla, so they just gave up asking.

Lyla stood beside Mark and was smiling all the way that her face had almost stiffened. “When will this end? I'm exhausted!”

“You can’t leave yet!”

“Why?”

“There’s still the most important part that hasn’t been completed!”

“What is it?”

At this moment, Mark looked towards the side as if he was searching for something in the crowd. When he saw that small figure, the corners of his lips curled up.

Hansel was in the crowd and gave an ‘ok’ gesture to him.

Mark smiled. In the next second, he pulled Lyla and walked onto the stage without saying anything.

“What are you doing?” Lyla looked at him.

Mark did not speak but just led her up to the stage. In an instant, everyone's eyes gathered.

Mark smiled. “Thank you for coming to the celebration banquet of M.K. this day. I have a few words to say here!”

Everyone was holding their breath, wondering what Mark would say.

“I guess that everyone already knows who the one next to me is. However, besides her identity as a designer, she also has another identity!” Mark said with a smile.

Lyla looked at him with her eyes wide open, what was he going to do?

Before she could react, Mark directly took her hand and held her waist. “She’s also my girlfriend!”

Lyla, “...”

Everyone could not help but sigh when they saw this. This was the first time that Mark had admitted that he had a girlfriend in public.

Within the next second, a big picture suddenly appeared on the screen. It was a picture of Mark and Lyla kissing, which was very beautiful. Lyla felt that something was wrong when everyone was looking at it. She turned around, saw the picture, and thought, ‘Is that person me?’

Why could she not remember taking such a picture?

The moment she turned back again, Mark hugged her and kissed her...

Lyla's mind went blank.

Mark's kiss was domineering and strong, he did not give her a chance to escape.

After some time, Mark slowly let go of her. Lyla finally got back to her senses and pinched Mark again.

Mark frowned and grabbed her hand. “What are you doing?”

“It should be me who’s asking. Did you even discuss with me before doing all of this?”

“But I did all of this to surprise you right?”
