Chapter 357 My Preferences Are Very Normal

Hearing these words, everyone fell silent.

They did not expect a gentle and quiet person like Ms. Davis to have such a past.

If the person who did it really was her, then it was too unexpected. If it was not her, then she was too tragic.

“What about her relationship history?” Mark asked.

“Her relationship history… is blank!” Neil looked at Neil.

“Blank?” Mark frowned and murmured, “For a woman of just the right age, with good looks and figure, it’s impossible that she has no suitors!”

“You don’t say, there’s actually one!” Neil said.

Everyone’s gazes turned to him as he spoke. “The information says that there was a man who proposed to her. He was even a rich man, but she refused. He felt humiliated by that and held resentment, but then the matter was left unsettled!”

“Unsettled?” Hansel frowned. “Was the man just joking around?”

“Of course not!” Mark said and narrowed his eyes. “She must have used some special method to make him give up!”

“That’s right!”

Saying that, Neil made eye contact with Mark.

“It seems like I have to find this rich boy and have a little chat with him!” Neil smiled.

……

The next day.

Neil rushed in hurriedly.

“I found out!”

Hearing Neil’s words, everyone’s spirits were roused.

Neil looked at them. “It’s as we expected. When Ms. Davis told the man that she liked women, he had no choice but to give up!”

When his words fell, everyone was silent.

They never expected it to be true.

“In other words, that man’s words had to be left without being settled. Otherwise, he would be humiliated and definitely get revenge!”

“Exactly!”

Then, Neil laughed. “Did you know? When I asked that guy, he refused to say no matter what and kept stammering. He looked utterly embarrassed!” He could not help but laugh.

However, among so many people, he was the only one laughing. Everyone else looked at him with incomprehensible eyes.

Neil gave the impression of being graceful, but he was laughing without care of his image. He also felt bad and immediately stopped laughing, and coughed twice, pretending as if nothing had happened.

Amanda rolled her eyes at him.

Helpless and shameful.

At that moment, Hansel looked at Mark. “Daddy, what are you going to do now?”

“What can I do? Of course, I’m going to save your mommy by any means!” Mark said. As soon as he thought that Lyla was pregnant and still suffering, he could not help but feel distressed.

“Piers is watching Ms. Davis round the clock now. If there’s any news, he’ll inform me immediately!”

“A woman with such a high IQ is not an ordinary person either!” Mark’s lips raised in a cold smile

“What are you planning...?”

Mark looked at Hansel. “Even if it’s dangerous, I have to try again!” Then, he went away.

Hansel stood where he was. Although Mark did not say anything, looking at Mark’s back, he could vaguely guess.

“Go up and call Lingo. There’s work to do!” Hansel said to Gretel.

“You’ll have to do it. Besides you, no one can wake her up!”

Hansel. “...”

Sure enough, Piers followed Ms. Davis for a day and night, but there was no news and no clues. He was incredibly chagrined.

“I’ve never seen such a meticulous woman!” Piers said while drinking water.

“If she could be easily discovered, there wouldn’t be so many murders!” Hansel said. “She’s not an ordinary woman, so you can’t use ordinary methods to deal with her!”

“Do you have a plan?” Piers asked.

Hansel nodded and looked at him. “You still have to keep a watch on her for the time being. It’s actually a good thing for Mommy if she doesn’t go anywhere. If she can’t hold back… maybe you’ll have a chance then!” Hansel said. He did not dare to think about the consequences.

Piers listened and nodded solemnly. “I got it. Don’t worry, I’ll watch her like a hawk. I don’t believe that she won’t show any openings!” Piers looked like he would not stop until he accomplished it.

Hansel nodded.

Just then, Piers’s phone rang. After answering it, he frowned. “Okay, I got it!”

He looked at Hansel after hanging up. “That woman went to LES Bar!”

“LES Bar? What is that?” Hansel asked.

Piers coughed twice. “It’s a lesbian bar!”

Hansel. “...”

He did not have much reaction after he heard it and did not feel embarrassed either. He just found it a little strange.

“When I was checking her profile, I didn’t find that she had a tendency to go to those kinds of places!”

Lingo looked at him. “What are you suspecting?”

“Could she have hidden Mommy there?” Hansel asked.
