Chapter 373 If Force Doesn’t Work, Use Softer Tactics

Amanda turned to Neil. “What did you say?”

“Say what?” Neil played dumb. At least Mark still had some humanity left in him and did not expose Neil.

“Don’t you know what you said?” Amanda asked.

Neil shook his head. “Nope!”

Amanda. “...”

She knew that Neil was playing dumb and glared at him, but Neil refused to say anything and unlocked his own door with a soft cough, walking inside.

Amanda let it go and also went into her own room.

……

After entering the room, Neil was still unwilling.

If only he could be in the same room as Amanda. He could then use the proximity to gain favor.

He paced around the room, but still felt unreconciled.

However, force did not work on Amanda. He could only use softer tactics.

Despite thinking and thinking, there was nothing else he could do, so he went to take a shower.

……

Amanda unpacked her luggage simply and took a shower, and was just about to rest when the doorbell suddenly rang. She was puzzled and went straight over to open the door.

Neil stood at the door, and Amanda frowned when she saw that it was him.

“Do you need something?” Amanda asked unhappily.

“Would I come to you if I didn’t?” Neil retorted.

“If you have something to say, then just say it. Don’t waste my time.”

……

This woman was really...

She was not lady-like at all.

“My shower is broken, so let me borrow yours!” He said and wandered around the room, looking for the bathroom.

Amanda frowned. His shower was broken?

She glanced at Neil, not yet suspicious.

“Why haven’t you rested?” Neil asked.

“I was just about to, but you’re here now, aren’t you?”

Neil. “...So, I’m disturbing your rest?”

Amanda was not polite and nodded. “Yes!”

“I didn’t want to either, but I can’t sleep without showering, and I can’t go to Mark’s room, so I could only come to you!” Neil said helplessly.

Amanda glanced at him. “But I’m also a girl. That’s not appropriate either, okay?”

“But you’re single! What’s inappropriate about it?”

Amanda. “...”

“I’m going in!” Neil went straight in without waiting for Amanda to say anything.

He was not polite at all and really took a shower. In fact, nothing happened in the hotel that night. It was not that he did not want it, but he could not take advantage of her, so he settled with taking a countless number of cold showers in the night.

Just the thought of spending the night with her alone made him quite happy.

He even seemed to have developed a wicked thought.

After coming out of the shower, Amanda was drinking wine in the living area, looking very comfortable and languid.

Seeing her like this, Neil’s eyes narrowed, and his heart throbbed inexplicably.

Looking up, Amanda glanced at him with lazy cat-like eyes, making his heart tremble.

She smiled faintly. “Want a drink?”

Neil was not stupid. How could he refuse this opportunity to be alone with her and get drunk and frisky?

He went straight over and sat down. The bath towel on his waist was quite sturdy and did not fall off even though he was moving, but his strong waist still made people’s imagination go wild.

Seeing this, Amanda slowly walked over towards him and sat down beside him.

“Well, did you finish showering?” Amanda grinned as she asked him, her hands wandering over his body.

Neil froze.

What was going on?

Could it be that she was conquered by his figure?

No!

He knew that it was impossible. He also knew that Amanda definitely had a motive, but no matter what, he could not refuse her.

Even if she had a motive, he did not want to push her away.

“Yep!” Neil smiled and spoke, meeting her eyes.

“Did it feel good?”

“Of course it did!”

Amanda picked up the wine and looked at him seductively. Then, she slowly took a sip and looked at him. “How about it? Do you want some too?”

Neil was thrilled, and his eyes flooded with light as he looked at her. “Sure…”

He was just about to reach for it when Amanda suddenly moved away.

She smiled and slowly moved the glass over, indicating that she wanted to feed him. Neil was overjoyed, getting exactly what he wanted.

Looking at her, he slowly opened his mouth. Amanda was gentle, and her eyes were indescribably amorous. Just as Neil was about to enjoy the tenderness, he instantly felt a chill on his chest.

At that instant, Amanda’s face changed. “How was it? Does it taste good? You damn liar! How dare you lie to me?”

Neil looked at the red wine on himself. “What did I lie to you about?”

“Didn’t you say that your shower was broken? Too bad then!” She pushed him outside and opened the door, and threw him out.

“I…”

“*sshole!” With a bang, the door slammed shut.

Neil stood at the door after getting rebuffed.

‘Wasn’t everything going well earlier? How did this happen?’
