Chapter 374 If You Love Her, Treat Her Well

In the restaurant.

They walked down.

Lyla and Mark were eating breakfast face-to-face, talking and laughing. They looked very comfortable.

Amanda and Neil walked over and sat down, one on each side of the table. Amanda did not even look at him, as if she was throwing a tantrum.

“What happened?” Lyla asked.

Amanda smiled at her. “Nothing!”

Lyla glanced at Neil, who looked helpless.

However, judging from their bickering, they really did look like a quarrelsome but loving couple.

“Do you have any plans after eating later?” Mark asked as he ate elegantly.

“Aren’t we going for the photoshoot?” Amanda asked.

“I discussed it with Lyla and we decided to rest today. We’ll officially start shooting tomorrow!”

Amanda nodded. “Okay then!”

Neil thought about it and looked at Amanda. “I’ll bring you around later!”

Hearing Neil’s invitation, Amanda smiled at him. “No need, I’ll go back to my room and sleep!”

“Then I’ll accompany you…”

He stopped his words suddenly and glanced to the side. Mark and Lyla were looking at him with strange eyes.

Amanda also understood what he was going to say and stomped his foot fiercely.

Neil’s brows knitted in pain, but he could only swallow back without speaking.

Mark and Lyla could not hold back their laughter.

“If you dare to talk nonsense again, I’ll murder you!” Amanda threatened in a low voice.

Neil looked at her, finding that this woman was getting more arrogant and powerful. She did not take him seriously at all.

However...

He liked it.

No matter how she acted, he liked it.

Neil did not realize that he could be such a degenerate.

Mark glanced at the quarrelsome couple and said, “After breakfast later, I’ll go out for a walk with Lyla, so we’ll be leaving you alone. We’ll see you tomorrow at 9!”

Neil nodded. “Ok, just leave us alone and go play!”

Mark raised his eyebrows and shot a look at Lyla, who simply laughed.

Thus, after breakfast, Lyla and Mark went on a slow tour of Paris hand-in-hand. Just watching their figures was enough for people to feel envious.

On the other hand, Amanda was just about to go upstairs after eating.

“You aren’t going out to play?” Neil asked her.

Amanda glanced at him. “With you around, I don’t want to go anywhere!”

“It’s not every day you come to Paris. Do you really want to spend it sleeping?” He asked.

In fact, Amanda was very tempted. However, if she went with Neil, would that not be tacitly agreeing to their relationship?

“There might not be any time left after the photoshoot. We might just go straight back!” Neil continued to say.

Amanda looked at him and knew his thoughts and motive when she saw the bright light flashing in his eyes.

“So what? It’s not like I can’t come back again next time!” Then, she walked away.

Neil stood where he was. He just did not believe that she was not tempted.

As soon as she heard that they were going to Paris, she became exceedingly excited. How could she be willing to just sleep the trip away?

According to his understanding, she definitely would not!

Thus, he was in no hurry and did not follow.

After Amanda went upstairs and saw that Neil did not follow, she was secretly glad and went inside her room. There, she changed and came back out.

She looked around when she came out, but did not see Neil, and was relieved.

She used a scarf and covered herself up.

However, just as she walked downstairs, although she was covered up, Neil recognized her at a glance because of her glasses.

Her disguise became useless.

After she went out, he put down the newspaper and could not help but laugh. Then, he got up and followed her out.

Thinking that she successfully escaped from Neil, Amanda found that the air outside felt better. Looking at the buildings around, she breathed deeply the smell of a foreign country.

She took out her phone and took pictures as she walked, trying out anything new she saw.

She never noticed the person following not far behind her, watching her with a deep and focused smile on his face.

Neil also knew that she wanted to avoid him, so he did not show himself.

According to Lyla, he could not act shamelessly if he wanted to win her heart. He had to sincerely do something for her.

Thus, Neil followed behind her the entire time. Whatever she did, he did behind her. When she took pictures in front, he took pictures behind. When she took selfies of only herself, he took pictures with the two of them. Although she was always in the background, her tight back and profile were always so natural and beautiful.

She passed by some stores and looked at some items, but did not buy them because they were expensive. After she left and walked ahead, Neil walked in from behind and bought everything she looked at.

That day, he did not do anything except follow right behind her. Although she did not know, Neil still felt very satisfied.

He hoped that one day, they could revisit Paris, and that time, they would be holding hands unlike now, where he was just silently following from behind.

Thus, time flew by as they had fun and soon it was evening. When Amanda came back to her senses and wanted to go back, she was dumbfounded.

She simply did not remember how she got here, and did not know how to hail a taxi either.

Thus, she became anxious.

She wanted to call Lyla, but her phone was out of battery after taking pictures all day.

From afar, Neil seemed to see her thoughts and shook his head helplessly. How glad he was that he had been following her. If he lost her, he would have died of worry.

Taking out his phone, he dialed a number.
