Chapter 376 Need Some Personal Space

“Uncle Neil…”

“I’ll definitely fight them!” Neil emphasized again before Hansel could even finish speaking.

At this moment, Mark added, “Trust me. If that really happens, then I’ll surely stand by my comrade’s side!”

Neil understood Mark’s meaning clearly.

“We’re friends!” Neil looked at Mark and said.

However, Mark continued, “Even though I don’t want to!”

Neil, “...”

No matter if Mark wanted to or not, Neil just wanted the results.

At this moment, Hansel looked at Amanda. “Big sis Amanda, as you can see, it’s not like I don’t want to help you. I just don’t have a way to do so! I don’t want to initiate a war between two gangs!”

Amanda took a deep breath and glared at Neil. “Just knowing you is worth eight lifetimes of bad luck!”

“Wrong, it’s all eternity!”

Amanda, “...”

Amanda took a deep breath. They were having a gathering that day, so she had to put up with him and not bother to argue with the likes of him.

Neil glanced at Amanda. Although his foot was still hurting a little, he was in a good mood as he had gained a complete victory.

Lyla looked at them from the side as they fooled around and smiled. “Alright, stop fooling around. Let’s have a toast to celebrate that we can still be together in this foreign country!”

Lyla’s words hit them.

So many incidents had happened in this period. They had also gone through life and death, so it was not easy for them to be together at that moment.

Thus, they toasted.

“Cheers!”

“Cheers!”

They put away all their troubles and toasted to celebrate.

That night, Lyla felt happy to be able to watch them eat and fool around together.

To Lyla, their current life was pretty good.

She hoped that they could continue living like this.

……

The next day.

Hansel and Gretel still had to leave.

Lyla looked at them, feeling reluctant.

How could a parent be willing to separate from her son and daughter?

She felt sad every time they had to part ways.

Lyla looked at them. Although she was reluctant, she still had to let them go because she knew that they had their own matters to deal with.

“You two need to take care of yourselves properly and don’t get hurt. Remember to call Mommy if anything happens!” Lyla reminded them.

Hansel nodded continuously. “Don’t worry, Mommy, we will!”

“Yes Mommy, so don’t be like that! We’ll still come back during your and Daddy’s wedding. Then we’ll stay with you for a longer time, okay?” Gretel said.

Only then did Lyla smile. “That’s more like it!”

“Okay, Mommy, we’ll have to go now. You and Daddy have to take care of yourselves!” Hansel said. They were also reluctant to go, but they knew that they had to part ways.

Lyla nodded as she tried to hold back her tears.

“Remember to earn more money for Mommy!” Lyla said.

Only then did Hansel and Gretel smile.

At this moment, Mark looked at them. After some time, he said, “Take care!”

“We will, Daddy! You also have to take care of Mommy!”

“If we learn that you’re out flirting around, we definitely won’t let you off the hook!”

Mark smiled. “Don’t say that! Otherwise, your mommy will hope that I’ll flirt around just to make you two come back!”

The two little ones smiled.

At that moment, a car stopped by the hotel entrance.

Upon seeing the person who got out of the car, Hansel and Gretel’s expression also became serious. “Daddy, Mommy, we're leaving!”

Lyla and Mark nodded.

Gretel thought for a moment and walked forward to hug Lyla. “Mommy, we’ll be fine!”

Gretel’s hug made Lyla tear up instantly. Lyla’s tears fell uncontrollably, but she immediately wiped them away so Hansel and Gretel would not get worried.

“I trust you!”

“Okay sis, let’s go!” Hansel said.

Only then did Gretel let go of Lyla reluctantly. “Mommy, I miss you!”

“Me too!” Lyla said.

Gretel smiled and then looked at Hansel behind her. “Let’s go, brother!”

Hansel nodded as the two of them turned around and left.

Seeing them get into the car, Lyla felt sad. At this moment, Mark reached out his arms and hugged her.

“It’s okay, don’t we still have another one?”

“What?”

“Our kid!”

“Where?”

Mark reached out his hand and put it on Lyla’s belly. Lyla immediately smiled. “We’ll still need to wait a few more months for her to come out!”

“Then we’ll just have to endure a few more months!”

Lyla sighed. “In any case, one should get an ordinary man!”

“Why do you say so?” Mark looked at Lyla and asked in confusion.

“Because the children of two highly intelligent people will be abnormal!” Lyla said as she looked at her belly. “Dear, please don’t be like your big brother and big sister. Just be an ordinary kid!”

Mark smiled, and even his eyes showed his happiness. “Are you trying to indirectly praise yourself?”

“Did I?”

“You did!”

“I’m just telling the truth!”

“Okay, okay, the truth huh…”

The two of them bickered and chatted. Teasing around like this was the only way to move Lyla’s attention away from the sadness of parting.

After teasing around for a while, Mark looked at her. “Alrighty, we still have two more days, so do you have anywhere you want to go?”
