Chapter 377 Bring You To Watch A Reality Show

Amanda was annoyed by Neil, so she took the chance to sneak away when Neil was not paying attention to her.

Once Amanda was out of his sight, she let out a breath of relief.

Nonetheless, Amanda’s face was still flushed. Everything was just a coincidence, so she did not want Neil to misunderstand her feelings. Upon thinking about this, she took a deep breath and finally got away from him.

Amanda walked along the streets alone.

Thinking about what happened at the bar, she could not help but smile.

Just as she was happily thinking about it, two people suddenly appeared in front of her and blocked her way.

Amanda got back to her senses. Once she saw that they seemed to have malicious intentions, she understood the situation.

They were talking about something in French.

Amanda could understand English, but she could not understand French at all. Nonetheless, based on their looks, it seemed like they were going to rob her.

Amanda immediately turned around and was about to run without saying anything. However, the moment she turned back, she saw that there was already someone blocking the way behind her.

Amanda was dumbfounded.

Was she that unlucky?

It had not been long since she came out, but she already met someone who wanted to rob her.

That damned Neil, it was all his fault. If it was not for him, how would she fall into this situation?

Amanda was thinking about what she should do and tried to communicate with them in English. However, they did not listen to her at all. Suddenly, one of them said something, and they rushed towards Amanda together.

“Ahh, what are you doing?!” Amanda shouted.

At this moment, a figure suddenly blocked in front of her. Before Amanda could even react, Neil was already fighting those people.

Amanda had not seen Neil fight before, so she was dumbfounded as she watched.

Neil made them fall onto the ground with just a few moves. His movements were all swift and stunning.

Amanda just watched him. At that moment, she must admit that she was impressed.

Seeing that those people had fallen, Neil turned around and looked at Amanda, who was behind him. He then immediately walked over. “How are you? Are you alright?”

Amanda looked at him in a daze.

“What is it?” Neil asked in worry.

Only then did Amanda get back to her senses. She looked at him and blinked her eyes, feeling guilty. “I’m fine, I’m fine!” Amanda shook her head.

However, at this moment, the person behind him got up, picked up something, and was about to smash it in his direction.

“Neil, be careful!” Amanda shouted.

Neil turned around and saw that it was about to smash onto him. He had no time to dodge, so he just reached out his arms and hugged Amanda to protect her.

Bang!

Amanda’s heart felt as if it was grabbed by something fiercely.

She did not manage to see anything at all. In the next second, Neil let go of her and fought them again. In the end, they ran away.

Neil stood in place without moving an inch.

When Amanda lifted her head, she saw Neil standing in front of her without any expression.

“Are, are you okay?” Amanda looked at him and asked.

Neil did not say anything. After a few seconds, he suddenly sat on the ground.

Amanda was shocked. “Wh-what’s the matter?” she looked at Neil and asked.

Neil touched the back of his head, looked at his palm, and saw that there was blood. This caused Amanda to be even more frightened.

“What should we do? What can we do?” Amanda did not know what to do.

Neil looked at her and shook his head. “I’m fine!”

“You’re already bleeding! How is that fine?!” Amanda said anxiously, not knowing what to do. She then looked around her surroundings, but there was no one passing by, and she panicked.

“Send me back!” Neil said at that moment.

“But…”

“Just do what I say!” Neil said.

What else could Amanda say? She just nodded, went to support Neil, and started walking back.

However, Neil suddenly fell onto the ground after a few steps. Amanda could not hold him up, so she shouted in panic.

……

In the hotel.

When the doctor was about to leave, Mark and Lyla sent him off. Amanda watched Neil lying on the bed and frowned.

“Neil, Neil…” Amanda kept calling out his name. However, no matter how much she called out, he did not have any reaction.

“Neil, don’t scare me! Wake up!” Amanda said. She was so frightened that her eyes were filled with tears.

“Why were you so silly? Why did you protect me? The one that should be lying here now is me!” Amanda said.

However, there was still no reaction from Neil.

Seeing his hand, Amanda held it and put it by her side. “I hate you so much, so why did you still save me? Don’t you know that you’ll make me feel guilty?”

“Come on, wake up! Don’t you like me? Wake up! If you wake up, then I’ll like you too!” Amanda said as she cried.

“What you said… Is it true?”

Amanda was taken aback. She got up and looked at the person under her, dumbfounded. “You, you’re awake?”

Neil looked at her. Although his face was pale, he still smiled sweetly. “Do you mean what you said?”

“Wh-what?”

“You said that you’ll like me if I wake up!” Neil said.

Amanda, “...”

She just said in a spur of the moment.

Amanda looked at him. “You, you were pretending to be unconscious?”

“I only heard that line coincidentally!”

Amanda felt unspeakably embarrassed.

Neil did not hear the rest of what she said, but he just heard that one line.

Amanda did not know how to explain, so she just got up and wanted to leave.

However, before Amanda could even stand up, Neil grabbed her hand. Amanda then fell into his arms with just a pull.

The two were only a few inches apart.

Neil narrowed his eyes and looked at her. “You haven’t answered me!”

Amanda looked at him. The distance between them was so close that she did not know what to say.

“Why aren’t you saying anything?” Neil asked.

“You… Let go of me!”

“No, I won’t let go even if I die!”

“You…”

“You still haven’t answered me!”

“What do you want me to say?!”

“Say that you like me!”

Amanda looked at him. She blushed and was tongue-tied.

“Urgh…” At this moment, Neil groaned in pain.
