Chapter 94 Mommy, I Was Wrong

This was not their first kiss.

However, it was the one that Lyla was most helpless about. Injured, she could not put up a struggle as any slight movement would have her breaking out in sweat with pain.

Nevertheless, Mark had no intentions of letting go of her...

Lyla was caught between emotions.

Outside, Hansel and Gretel excitedly widened their eyes at the episode.

“Wow, Daddy’s so cool!” Like a young girl into romance, Gretel was hot with emotions watching on.

“Hush, pipe down!” Hansel whispered. Watching the events inside with zest, Hansel was worked up as well. He wondered if Daddy would make another brother for him or something here...

The thought of it left him muffling his snickers with a hand over his mouth.

Just then, a person came walking over. Seeing the two kids leaning against the door for a peek, the person took a glance at the ward number. This was the right place.

“Excuse me, is Ms. Lowe in this ward?”

“Hansel, what do you say? Will Mom get hurt?” Gretel asked.

“I don’t think so!”

In this very moment, The twins were too engrossed to hear the person as they continued to slope against the door to watch and comment.

J stared at them with a frown. He cleared his throat once again. “Cough cough, excuse me. Is this Ms. Lowe’s ward?”

The sound finally got Gretel’s attention. The girl turned over and took a glance before reaching out to tug on the hem of Hansel’s shirt.

“What’s wrong?”

“Someone’s here for Mommy!”

Hansel turned around and gazed at the person before him. He frowned. “And you are?”

Examining Hansel’s looks, J opened his mouth but no sound came out of it. How could two people look so identical in the world?

Although this boy’s features here had not fully developed, he was clearly a mini version of him!

“You, you-you...” J gawked at Hansel, completely stumped for words.

Hansel was helpless. Needless to say, he must be here for Daddy. Those who stare at him in wonder must be acquainted with Daddy.

“Hansel, it’s starting, it’s starting. Come on!” Thrilled, Gretel shouted from the back.

Hansel was beyond excited as well. He simply left J a remark. “Daddy and Mommy are inside so you can’t go in now!” With that, he continued dipping against the door for a peek!

Daddy?

Mommy?

He knew that Lyla had children but could it be them?

Could Daddy... be referring to Mr. Pattinson?

With that in mind, J’s jaw dropped lower. Since when did Mr. Pattinson have such grown up children?

However, that face was obviously a mini version of Mr. Pattinson’s.

What... was going on!

Was he hallucinating?

Thinking that it was all a dream, he pinched himself.

The man gasped in pain.

It was not a dream.

So it was real?

Gaping at Hansel and Gretel’s backs, he just could not snap out of it.

Nonetheless, seeing them enthusiastically bent over and looking at something, he could not help but be curious and moved closer.

Sneaking a peek through the crack of the door, his jaw dropped to the ground.

Mr. Pattinson and Ms. Lowe...

Lyla took a vicious bite out of Mark, leaving the latter to withdraw in pain. “Godd*mnit! Lyla Lowe, are you a dog?”

“How did you know?”

“You—”

It really pissed Mark off to see Lyla looking all innocent.

Lyla stared back. “This is the best punishment for you!”

Hell, he had not even given her a taste of her own medicine yet she was already punishing him.

“Punishment? Do you want to continue punishing me?” Mark had the cheek to ask.

Lyla. “...” She had seen a lot of shamelessness in her lifetime but never had come across a person like Mark.

AHHHHHH!

Lyla was really about to go mad!

“Mr. Pattinson, I’m a patient. Are you even a man to be taking advantage of people?” Lyla stared and struck a question, stuck on how to deal with him.

It never crossed her mind that Mark would let out a wicked smile instead. “You would know if I’m a man. Or perhaps, you wish to validate that now yourself?”

With him drawing near, Lyla turned flustered. “Mark Pattinson, this is a hospital!”

“So what? I don’t mind...”

Godd*mnit!

She minded, alright?

Lyla had no idea how to handle Mark playing the rascal!

As he inched closer...

Those at the door could not really see what was going on. They leaned forward, a little more and a little more...

Wham!

With the door rammed open, the trio crashed in. They did not take a fall thanks to their great balance. Only...

Mark and Lyla turned their heads over in unison.

Huh!

Had they been spying from the door?

Mark had a really sour look on his face. He could kill them with his eyes for screwing things up for him.

Gretel suddenly spoke, “Goodness. I say, Mister, I told you not to look but you kept insisting on it. I couldn’t even stop you!” She pointed the finger at J.

“I...” J looked lost and innocent.

Quick to catch on, Hansel echoed her view. “Yes, what’s there to look at. It's immoral to ruin the moments of others!”

“I... You...” J could not believe these two little ones would frame him.
