Chapter 10

Little Nomi then noticed a few waitresses, each holding a silver tray filled with exquisite delicacies, walking in their direction.

She had a feeling that they were walking to their table.

Monique Xander noticed them too. Indeed, those waitresses walked up to them and stopped beside their table before unloading one tray after another onto their table.

Their small table became fully loaded with various delicacies.

Even the boy from the next table was amazed. He had been to this restaurant many times but his father never ordered so many desserts for him. Some of them were even exclusive ones that he had never tried before.

Monique was so shocked that her mouth fell wide open. She only ordered a mango pancake and a small strawberry milkshake. She could never afford all these.

“There must be a mistake, I didn’t order these,” Monique stood up instantly. “I only ordered a mango pancake and a strawberry milkshake.”

A beautiful woman stood in front of them in a different uniform compared to the other waitresses. She seemed like the manager of the restaurant with her finer wear.

She leaned her body slightly forward with courtesy and maintained a warm smile, “These were already paid for by a gentleman.”

“Which gentleman was it?” Monique looked at the seats in front of her, she was at a loss. She did not recall knowing such a rich and generous gentleman.

“He just left,” the manager replied with respect. She could never neglect Chairman Moore’s instructions.

Monique looked toward the entrance and saw a somewhat familiar figure.

“It’s him!” His tall and built figure had a natural elegance about it. One person appeared in Monique’s mind.

“Daddy!” Little Nomi noticed him too and called out. His figure looked exactly the same in her dreams.

The corners of Monique’s lips twitched as she screamed internally. ‘He is not your father!’ She flicked her eyes over to the waitresses, everyone was giving her a weird look.

She was so embarrassed that she did not know whether to stand or sit.

She then looked at Little Nomi who was also looking at her, her huge bright eyes gleaming with happiness. Reluctant to hurt her daughter, Monique decided not to have a rebuttal. She then kept her head low and sat down with embarrassment.

From the others’ perspective, it seemed like Monique was acknowledging it. The waitresses were all so shocked as if Monique dropped a bombshell, they now looked at her with great respect compared to before.

The previous mean waitress included.

“You are Chairman Moore’s lady and daughter? You are really modest! However, your beauty and elegance were clear as day!” said the mean waitress with an awkward laugh, trying to fawn over Monique.

‘This shabby-looking woman in front of me is Young Master Moore’s woman! I must be blind! I deserve a slap from myself.’

From what she heard, Chairman Moore had been uninterested in women and there was no news of him getting married at all. Perhaps she was his mistress? They even had a daughter!

It did not matter. As the chairman of Moore Group, Chairman Moore was an outstanding diamond bachelor with excellent family background. Every person involved with him was to be deemed a VIP.

He was a natural-born genius in management. He took over Moore Group at a very young age and it has been expanding rapidly under his management. The group expanded into other industries like entertainment, finance, real estate, the film industry, and so on.

He was from one of the four biggest families in B City.

“No… Chairman Moore…” Monique did not know who Chairman Moore was so she was reluctant to explain.

“That’s right, he’s my daddy.” Little Nomi held her head high and said with pride.

She had never seen her mother get treated with such respect before.
