Chapter 107 Malicious Intentions

Before the evening, Hansel was still cooking, but Lily and Emmy had already come over. The two did not know each other, but they were both straightforward people, so they quickly mingled.

“Is your injury really okay? You didn't even tell me about it, I was worried to death!” Emmy looked at Lyla and asked worriedly.

“I'm fine. I lost my phone at that time so I couldn’t contact anyone. Don't worry, I'm really fine!” Lyla curled up on the sofa, chatted with them, and ate fruits.

Lily also said, “She didn't tell me too. If I hadn't bombarded her with phone calls, I guess I wouldn't even know what was going on when she went back to work at the company!”

As a result, Emmy and Lily started bombarding Lyla with complaints for a while. Lyla could not help but surrender again and again. “Ok, I was wrong, I was really wrong!”

At this time, Hansel brought some fruits over and put them on the table again. “Two beautiful and cute aunties, please don't make it hard for my mom anymore, she just didn't want you to worry about it!”

The moment Hansel said this, Lily and Emmy became jealous.

How could there be such a good child!

They would really want to have one too!

“Okay, for this darling’s sake, I’ll let you go!” Emmy said.

“Thank you!” Lyla was really grateful.

At that time, Lily looked at Hansel. “My dear, I really want to have a son like you!” Lily’s face was filled with desire.

Unexpectedly, Hansel thought about it seriously, and said, “This is an issue related to genetics, Auntie Lily, you’ll have to work hard!” After speaking, Hansel smiled slightly and turned away into the kitchen.

Lily really wanted to say something as she looked at Hansel’s back, but she could not say anything.

Emmy and Lyla could not help but laugh at the side.

Hansel’s words really made people have a love-hate relationship with him sometimes.

He controlled the kitchen alone, regardless of his small figure, he would do everything in an orderly manner.

Lily and Emmy were surprised and curious at first, but after seeing him, they also calmed down.

Soon, dinner was ready. Once it was done, Gretel ran out of the room upon smelling it.

“Are we going to have dinner now?” Gretel asked excitedly. She was almost starving to death.

“Yes, yes, we’re going to have dinner now. I didn't see you when I needed help, but you ran out as soon as there’s something to eat!” Lyla rolled her eyes at Gretel.

“I just didn’t want to add any more trouble!” Gretel smiled like a princess.

Lyla shook her head helplessly and then asked Lily and Emmy to take a seat.

Hansel sat down as well after serving the last dish.

They ate and chatted. Now that they all knew that Hansel and Gretel were both Mark's children, they could not help but gossip about this for a long time.

“Hey, tell me honestly, are you together with Mark now?” Emmy asked. She also saw their news in magazines occasionally.

“No!” Lyla shook her head decisively.

“Tell the truth!”

“We’re really not!” Lyla still shook her head.

At that moment, Emmy looked at Lily. “Really?”

Lily was eating and her food almost fell on the table, she then thought about it for a moment. “I don't know if they are together, but the relationship between them… Well, it's definitely not ordinary!” She said and laughed.

Emmy continued to press Lyla. Lyla just smiled and did not say much, because no matter what she said, they would always think that there was something with her and Mark. Due to Hansel and Gretel’s existence, no matter how she tried to hide them, it would be impossible to destroy their traces.

Therefore, Lyla just let them think whatever they want.

However, something that they all had not expected happened.

Just as they were happily eating, the door was suddenly opened, and a tall figure appeared in the dining room. The man was none other than Mark.

The moment they saw Mark, Lily stood up instantly as an employee's subconscious reaction. “Mr. Pattinson?”

Emmy's knowledge of Mark only came from television and magazines. Now that she saw him herself, she was instantly stunned.

Speak of the devil!

However, Lyla was the one who was the most surprised.

She already told him not to come, so she did not expect him to come at this time.

She glared at Mark, but he acted as if nothing had happened. He did not even look at her, he just smiled and asked, “Are you all eating?”

He asked knowingly, so Lyla rolled her eyes at him. She knew that it was suspicious when he promised her so outrightly during the day.

“Yeah, daddy. Do you want to come over and eat together?” Hansel asked.

Mark is definitely not a polite person, or more accurately, that was his purpose there. He raised his eyebrow and said, “Sure!” He walked over directly after he finished speaking. Just as Lily was about to move, Mark said, “You don't need to move. Just sit there!”

“Eh?” Lily was stunned and a little at loss. Mark's sudden arrival made her a lot nervous.

“Just sit down!” Mark repeated, and he instantly became the main focus.

Lyla rolled her eyes at this nonchalant man, he really acted as if it was nothing at all.

Lily sat down, but it was obvious that the atmosphere was not as casual and lively as before.

Mark did not participate in their topic, but he could feel the atmosphere. After taking a few bites, he raised his eyes to look at them. “You don't need to worry about me. Just continue to chat as usual and treat me as if I don't exist!”

However, how could his presence make them feel relaxed?

Everyone was just staring at each other and ate without speaking.

Mark did not expect that the atmosphere would cool down with his arrival. He pressed his lips and thought for a moment. He then responded, “Then, why not I bring my food into the room to eat?”

The moment these words were said, Lily and Emmy could not help but laugh, and even Lyla who was on a side laughed.

The atmosphere became less tense.
