Chapter 137 Leave Him For Three Million

Was Justin so afraid that they would swallow his company?

Mark could not help but find it funny and was even a little curious as to how they thought.

“Okay, fire her, but fire me along with her!” Mark said. His voice was not loud, but it was threatening.

“You—

“Are you threatening me?”

“I wouldn’t say it’s a threat, but if you insist on doing that, then I’ll leave with her!” Mark said unhurriedly. His tone was calm, making Justin unable to tell what he was feeling.

“Do you think I won’t dare to tell you to leave?” Justin huffed out.

“I’ve never thought that. There should be nothing that you can’t do, Dad!” Mark’s gaze at Justin was hateful and cold, making him unable to see the bottom of Mark’s eyes.

“It’s good that you know!” The corners of Justin’s mouth lifted in a cold smile.

Sometimes, Mark really wondered if he was truly Justin’s son.

They were similar, but their differences were like heaven and earth.

However, if Justin was heartless, then he should not blame Mark for being the same.

“However, Dad, don’t forget that we’re holding almost the same amount of shares!” Mark looked at him with deep and serious eyes. He had already made a decision.

Justin’s expression changed. “What do you mean by that?”

“It’s exactly what it sounds like!” Mark had worked in M.K. for many years, but he had not just been working. He had already indirectly bought a lot of stocks and was now equal with Justin.

The reason why he did not say anything before was because there was still a margin left. If Justin and Eileen really pushed him too far, he would not mind officially starting the war.

Justin’s fists clenched as his heart throbbed. “You dared to secretly buy the company shares behind my back?”

Mark said flippantly, “Dad, if I were you, I would turn a blind eye!”

“Dream on!”

“I’ve been in the company for so many years. Even if I don’t have any meritorious deeds to my name, I’ve toiled away for the company. It’ll be child’s play if I want this company. Now, everything in the Pattinson family is relying on my support. Are you sure you want to go that far?” Mark asked him.

“You—”

Even if Justin was unconvinced, it was the truth. The Pattinson family now relied on Mark Pattinson. If Mark really annexed the company and no longer cared about them, there was nothing they could do...

It seemed like Mark had planned for this.

“Dad, I don’t want to go that far. Don’t worry, I’ll take care of you, but the condition is that you guys better not touch my bottom line!” Mark said word for word.

“Bottom line? What bottom line? That woman?” Justin asked in amusement.

“Yes, and the two children!” Mark said slowly in a hard tone. His eyes looking at Justin were calm and confident. He had never spoken to him in this way for anything or anyone before. This was the first time.

Justin was indeed helpless, but the aged him refused to accept it.

However, what was certain was that that woman and the two children could not stay.

Justin smiled coldly. “Good, you’re finally ready to spread your wings. You’ve started to threaten me!”

“I just want to protect the people I want to protect. I don’t care about anything else!” Mark said. His deep and dark eyes were unfathomable.

Looking at him, Justin froze for a moment. He seemed to see the shadow of that woman in Mark’s eyes...

Mark also looked at Justin. The two gazes met. Ever since he was young, Justin had never looked at him this way. This was the first time.

Seemingly aware of his loss of focus, Justin snapped back to his senses and averted his gaze. “Fine, since you’re so determined, you’ll find out just how ridiculous your thoughts are!” Then, Justin no longer lingered and turned around to walk away.

Mark stood where he was, looking at Justin’s retreating back. His eyes narrowed slightly. Sometimes, decisions had to be forced out of people...

……

After leaving the company, Mark’s words still echoed in his ears.

He was right. Now, the Pattinson family relied on M.K., and M.K. was a card in Mark’s hands.

An M.K. without Mark Pattinson would inevitably collapse, just like the last time...

That was why Justin could not anger him.

This feeling of hating a person yet being helpless about it really would drive people crazy.

After Justin calmed down, he suddenly thought of a way. Since he could not do anything on Mark’s side, he just had to go at it from a different direction...

“Help me contact that woman. I want to see her now!” Justin said and directly got into the car.

……

Lyla was not surprised that Justin Pattinson would look for her, but she was surprised that he would be so quick.

She recalled Mark’s expression and tone. She was not clear about the Pattinson family’s affairs and could not imagine what kind of person Justin Pattinson was.

However, she suddenly had the idea of wanting to understand Mark.

Thus, she agreed.

In the private room.
