Chapter 169 Logan's Crushing On Lingo

Listening to Hansel's words, Logan Pattinson's eyebrows knitted up and said, "I'm telling you, stop talking nonsense! This is slander and I can sue you for it!"

Hansel did not take him seriously and said casually, "Sue me? I’ve already kidnapped you, so do you think I’m still afraid that you’ll sue me? If you’re so capable, I’d like to see you try!"

"You--"

Gretel rolled her eyes and said, "What? You’re already in our hands and should bow to us, but you’re still so arrogant even when you’re all tied up!"

These two children in front of him were so cooperative that it made Logan feel exasperated. He had never felt so aggravated and yelled, "You...you two bastards! Shut up! If you babble on again, I won’t be polite to you!"

Bastards?

Hansel and Gretel's brows furrowed.

Before they could get mad, they heard a sound behind them, followed by a gust of wind. Lingo had somehow appeared next to them.

Lingo smirked at Logan. Her delicate features made her look incredibly beautiful. She yelled, "Bastard? Who are you yelling at? I dare you to say it again!"

Logan was stunned and felt a sudden chill. When he lifted his gaze to look at the woman in front of him, his mind went blank and his eyes widened in awe. How could there be such a stunning woman in this world?

At that moment, Lingo gave Logan a hard slap across his face.

Logan was still stunned. When he came back to his senses, he looked at Lingo and said with a weaker voice, "What are you doing?"

"What do you think I’m doing? I can't stand your face!"

As she said that, Lingo let loose and released a flurry of punches on Logan.

Hansel and Gretel were initially a little vexed, but seeing Lingo like this, they were no longer mad. Instead, they winced and felt sorry for Logan Pattinson.

Lingo was well-trained in martial arts. Although it was only a few punches, the impact was more powerful than the average person.

Even Piers had retreated far away and finally understood why one should never offend women.

"Ah--"

Listening to Logan's miserable scream, the few of them turned away as it was too brutal to watch.

After a vicious beating, Lingo finally felt relieved and looked at Logan with disdain. She said, "I’m warning you, you’d better watch your mouth from now on. Otherwise, I won’t be as nice as I am now!"

Logan slowly raised his head and looked at Lingo. He secretly thought, ‘How could such a beautiful woman be so vicious?’

"Dumb*ss!"

Lingo shouted a slur, then walked back to the sofa and continued eating her pasta.

After that beating, Logan was silent and did not quarrel with the twins anymore. Instead, his gaze was dark as he stared at Lingo, who was sitting in the living room.

Hansel and Gretel also did not bother to quibble with him and walked back.

Gretel jumped into her arms and said, "Thanks, Lingo!"

Lingo stroked her head, looking like a mama bear protecting her cub.

She always felt an indescribable feeling for the twins, but one thing was certain. No one was allowed to hurt these two little ones. That was her bottom line.

The four of them sat there, openly discussing how they could exchange Logan for Lyla. Logan was listening on the side, but he did not register what they said as his gaze was fixated on Lingo, filled with infatuation...

His nose and face were still swollen.

......

Slap!

A slap landed on Lyla’s face.

Eileen Dawson had nowhere to vent her anger. She never expected that Mark would kidnap Logan for this woman.

No matter what, they were brothers.

She never thought that he would be capable of doing this.

Eileen was furious.

Lyla was baffled by the slap and asked, "What are you doing?"

"What am I doing? Can't you see that I’m hitting you?" Eileen asked rhetorically.

Lyla had been thinking the entire day. Excluding Kathleen Turner, she really could not think of anyone who would do such a thing. Even if it was Kathleen, there was no need for her to hide.

Therefore, she was sure that it was not Kathleen’s doing.

When she considered this, she thought of Justin Pattinson.

It was clearly a woman though. She then incidentally thought that it could be Eileen Dawson.

This was a little far-fetched. After all, the two of them had never met and she did not know Eileen Dawson, so it should not be her.

However, apart from her, Lyla could think of no one else.

Seemingly feeling the other party's wrath, Lyla could not do anything but endure. She said, "It seems that you’ve been agitated by something, huh?"

"It seems that Mark Pattinson’s really willing to do anything for you!"

Mark Pattinson?

Hearing this name, Lyla’s heartbeat unconsciously quickened. She asked, "What do you mean? What did he do?"

The other party said with a smirk, "He didn’t do much, but he will soon!"
