Chapter 168 Kidnap Him For Fun

At that moment, Hansel walked over to Lingo and sat beside her. He said, "Tell me the truth. Did you go out and do something?"

Lingo sat on the sofa and flipped her long hair.

"I might’ve done something!"

"What did you do?"

"Of course, I went to save your mom!"

"You found her?"

"No, but almost!"

"What do you mean?"

Lingo handed him the glass and said, "Pour me another glass!"

Hansel took it and was just about to pour her another glass of water when Lingo spoke from behind him, "Don't worry, they’ll let your mom go soon!"

He was still thinking about what she meant by that. This woman was beautiful, but the way she handled things was out of the ordinary and so unrestrained, like an unpredictable gust of wind.

At that moment, Mark's phone rang. Looking at the caller ID, he frowned and answered.

"Hello."

"Mark Pattinson, what do you want?"

"I should be the one asking you this!"

"I'm telling you, if anything happens to Logan, I won't let you go!"

"What does it have to do with me if he's dead or alive?"

On the other end of the call, Eileen Dawson shouted in anger, "Aren't you the one who kidnapped him? Mark Pattinson, he shares your blood too. Aren't you afraid of retribution when you do this?"

Hearing these words, Mark understood something, lifted his eyes, and looked at Lingo, but she just tilted her head and raised her eyebrows, looking very cute.

"If anyone should fear retribution, it should be you! I’m not afraid!"

"You--"

"If you want to save your son, then make an exchange!"

After he said that, Mark quickly ended the call.

He looked straight at Lingo, who was sitting on the sofa with her long and slender legs propped up on the coffee table, looking very domineering.

Mark walked over and asked, "Did you kidnap Logan?"

As soon as he said those words, the glass in Hansel's hand slipped and smashed on the floor.

Lingo did not deny nor admit it and just said, “She called so quickly, so it means she’s obviously scared!”

Hansel turned around to look at Lingo and asked, "You...you really kidnapped Logan Pattinson?"

Lingo nodded innocently and replied, "Yes, what’s the big deal?"

Hansel was speechless.

He truly admired Lingo’s ability to simply do as she said she would.

"How did you do it?"

"I knocked him out at the parking lot and took him away!"

Hansel continued, "Then how did Eileen Dawson know that we did it?"

"Oh, I took a car that was parked outside and drove there. They probably saw the license plate number!"

"Isn’t this equivalent to telling them that it was us?"

"If we don’t tell them, how would they know?!"

Hansel asked, "Then what if she calls the police?"

"She won’t," Mark said, as he stood calmly on the side. His exquisite statue-like face looked deep in thought.

"Why would guilty people go to the police themselves?"

Lingo raised her eyebrows and was smug as she said, "That's right!"

Hansel frowned and thought they were right.

He looked at Lingo and asked, "Where did you keep him?"

"Piers Brion's house. Why?"

Hansel was once again speechless.

This was definitely Lingo’s style of doing things.

"Piers would be driven mad!"

Lingo casually said, "If he gets mad, then he can just beat him up. A loser like Logan deserves to be beaten up a few times for his own good!"

Hansel just wanted to give her a thumbs up and a nod of approval.

He thought that Lingo only mentioned this in passing and did not expect her to follow through so quickly. This speed and momentum made Hansel feel ashamed of himself.

Mark said, "It seems that this trick works well on Eileen Dawson!"

"Of course! At this time, if she does anything to your woman, she’ll also think about whether you guys are doing the same to her son, so she wouldn’t dare to mess around!"

"If that's true, then can't we use that to make a deal with her to let Mommy go?"

"Seeing how nervous she is, it shouldn’t be a problem!"

The corners of Hansel's lips curled up and he said, "But I’m afraid she won't be willing to leave it like that!"

"Even if she's not willing now, she won't do anything rash. At least, not for the time being," Lingo said with full certainty.

Lingo was a veteran in the field, after all, so she could see the situation clearly.

Hansel smiled and thought that would be the best. He felt much more relieved at the thought of seeing his mom soon. He looked at Lingo and asked, "Why don’t we pay him a visit now?"

"Who?"

"Her son!"

"What's there to see about that loser?"

"But I just want to have a look!"

Gretel echoed, "I want to go too!"

Lingo saw their excited faces and could not reject them. She conceded and said, "Fine, let's go!"

When Gretel saw that they were about to leave, she looked at Mark and asked, "Daddy, are you not coming?"

"I won’t tag along. You guys go ahead!"

"But..."

Hansel said, "In that case, then take a good rest, Daddy!"

Seeing that he had already said so, Gretel did not insist and nodded. The three of them then set off.

When they got into the car, Lingo said, "I didn't expect that Mark Pattinson could hold back!"

"Daddy has always been eager for affection. Besides, Daddy and Logan Pattinson are still brothers!"

Lingo tilted her head to look at him and said, "I think that your dad is just afraid that he can't hold back from killing him!"
