Chapter 259 Why Wasn’t He A Girl?

“There’s a man downstairs of the company, he blocked Ms. Lowe and he’s now proposing to her!” J said.

Mark frowned. Who could be that bold? Did he not want to live anymore? How did someone else even dare to think about his woman?

“Why didn’t you tell me earlier?” Mark glared at him before rushing out.

J, “...”

J had a bitter expression.

He did try to say it earlier, but Mark stopped him from saying it and was now blaming him.

J looked very aggrieved.

Meanwhile, downstairs.

“I really don't know you!”

“But I know you!”

“You…”

“Please marry me!” the man said persistently.

Lyla did not bother about him and wanted to leave. However, no matter where she went, the man would continue to block her.

Lyla was also helpless.

Just as she was thinking about what she should do, Mark came downstairs.

“Don’t even dream about it, she won't marry you!”

Upon hearing this, everyone stepped aside subconsciously. Lyla turned around and saw Mark walk over.

He wore a black suit that looked as if it was tailor-made for him, it fitted him perfectly. That face was also unbelievably handsome. He just walked over like that.

“Mark!”

Mark took a glance at her and then looked at the man.

“Who are you?” the man asked.

“I’m the president of this company, as well as this woman's children's father. Not only that, but I’m also her boyfriend, fiance, and future husband. So who do you think I am?” Mark said everything in one go. Those that were not smart enough would definitely not be able to comprehend what he just said.

After hearing this, Lyla could not help but stretch out her hand and facepalm.

The man was obviously confused, so he only heard a part of it. “Even if you’re her future husband, you are still not her husband yet. Before you get married, it wouldn’t be clear to say yet!”

Yeesh.

Mark looked at him.

It looked like this man was going to challenge Mark until the bitter end.

“Really? Then you won’t even have a chance!” Mark said as he walked directly towards Lyla and hugged her. He then raised her hand to reveal the ring on her hand. “Look! She has already agreed to my marriage proposal!"

“Heh, a marriage proposal means nothing. If she wants to agree to my marriage proposal now, she can refuse yours at any time!” said the man.

Hansel and Gretel were listening excitedly at the side.

“Well said!” said Mark.

The man seemed to be encouraged, he became even more confident, and got up. “So, gentleman, please excuse me!”

Mark frowned. He wondered whether this man could even understand his words.

In this case, Mark would let the man see his capabilities.

Mark turned back and looked at Lyla. “Do you still remember what you promised me when you were in Rome?”

Lyla had been confused by them at this moment, so her mind was already in a mess long ago. When he asked this question, she subconsciously frowned. “What?”

Mark did not get angry and just said, “You said that we’ll get married when we come back. You promised me this!”

Upon hearing him say ‘get married’, Lyla seemed to understand something…

“Let’s just confirm it now!” said Mark.

“Now?”

Mark nodded, hugged her, and then looked at everyone. “I’ve forgotten something, at the end of this month, we’ll be having the wedding. We’ll need your blessings, thank you!"

Soon, there was a round of applause.

Everyone was from Mark’s company, so no one dared to not support him.

On the other hand, the man just watched by the side, but he was actually waiting for Mark to say it.

At least now they had set a time for it.

“But…”

“What? You’re still not willing to give up?” Mark asked the man.

The man looked at them, thought for a moment, and walked up to them. He then immediately gave them the bouquet. “In that case, I’ll wish for your happiness!” He walked away after he finished speaking.

This time, it was Mark’s turn to be stunned.

Was this really a magnificent world with endless wonders? Nonetheless, he seemed to understand something…

……

Through the earphones.

Hansel and Gretel high fived happily.

“Yay!”

“Who knew that it’d be this successful!” Hansel could not help but praise her.

“Of course!” Gretel said proudly.

“When Daddy came out, I was so afraid that he'd hit the man!”

Speaking of this, Hansel laughed as well. “I also had that worry, but Daddy is the kind of person that would do anything to save his pride. The more critical the situation, the more he’d pay attention to his mannerisms. Therefore, he would have never hit him!”

“Not bad little one, you even know how to analyze it!”

“It’s a small case!”

“Now that it’s done, let’s celebrate later!”

“Ok!”

Meanwhile, on Lyla and Mark’s side.

They just stared at each other.

“Won’t it be too hasty to have it at the end of the month?” Lyla asked.

“Do you think that I can wait any longer?” Mark took Lyla and walked into the company immediately after speaking.

“Hey, slow down, what are you doing?”

After entering the company, J happened to walk out, and Mark said directly, “I’m going to get married at the end of the month. I’ll let you handle this matter. Also, postpone my scheduled plans!"

That said, this meant that he was announcing it to the entire company, right?!

J applauded first, but when he later realized what Mark just said, he was taken aback.
