Chapter 277 Die Together With You

“If you really don’t have anywhere to spend your money on, I have a good suggestion!” Lyla looked at Felix and spoke. However, not only did he not respond, but he had an awful expression on his face.

“You, Felix, what's the matter? Lyla looked at him and asked.

Felix pressed his lips together with a tense face. “Sit properly, buckle up, and don't move!” Felix said in a deep voice.

He did not seem to be joking based on his expression and tone. Lyla immediately started to get nervous. She glanced at the side mirror and saw a car following them. After being with Mark for so long, even she could tell that something was wrong.

“That car, is it following us?”

Felix’s expression was terrible. He only answered her after some time, “Yes!”

“Their target is me. Later, I’ll find a chance to get rid of them and let you out of the car!” Felix said calmly.

Lyla looked at him. “Then what about you?”

“They’re targeting me, it might be a little hard to get rid of them!”

This was the first time Lyla heard Felix give such an uncertain answer.

Her heart raced and she shook her head. “No, I won’t leave you behind!”

“You’ll only be in danger if you’re with me now!” Felix looked at her and said anxiously.

“But I still can’t just leave you behind!” Lyla said firmly.

Felix looked at her and observed the surroundings. At this moment, he did not know how he should express his emotions.

It was true that Lyla had moved him and made him reluctant.

However, he definitely could not drag her into his.

Felix reached out and held her hand. “Lyla, listen to me. Trust me, I’ll be okay as long as you’re okay. Just listen to me, I’ll stop in front, then you need to get out of the car and run!” he looked at her and said word by word.

“Then if I get caught by them when I get out? They might use me to threaten you!” Lyla asked back.

“I won't give them the chance to do so! Even if I die, I won't let them catch you!”

“Felix, we don't have time to stop. Once we stop, they’ll catch up. Even if I really have a chance to escape, I won't leave you behind!” Lyla said.

Although she could not give him love in this life, she would still never leave him behind like this.

Felix looked at her. “This is not the time to be silly!”

“Do I look like I’m joking?” Lyla asked back.

Felix did not know what to say.

Lyla adjusted her posture and took a deep breath. “Just continue driving. Either we die together or escape together today!”

Upon seeing her confident appearance, Felix glanced at the car behind. They seemed to be aware that Lyla and Felix had found out about them now. At this moment, They accelerated and drove towards the two. “Even if you want to escape now, there won’t be any time!” Felix sped up and drove forward.

Lyla glanced at the back. “Did they find out?”

“Yes!”

There was nothing to hide now.

Lyla glanced behind and seemed to be thinking about something.

“Do you know how to use a gun?” Felix asked.

“Huh?!”

“It’s under the car seat. Take it out!” Felix said.

Lyla was taken aback for a moment. However, she still reached out her hand and took something out from beneath. It was a box.

Lyla opened it, and there were two guns inside.

Maybe because she had always been in contact with people like Mark and others, she did not have much resistance or fear after seeing it. Instead, she just picked it up and felt like she was familiar with it.

Felix looked at her. “Do you know how?”

“No!” Lyla said immediately.

“It's simple, just hold it and aim at someone. Don't worry, this is noiseless!” said Felix.

Lyla nodded.

“You can hold it for self-defense!”

Lyla nodded.

Felix stretched out his hand, picked up the other one, and put it aside.

At this moment, their car was almost out of the city and reaching the outskirts.

The car behind sprinted forward, not willing to fall behind them.

Once the car caught up to them, the window of that car went down. A man then raised his gun and shot directly at them.

Lyla was so shocked that her heart could burst, but Felix just ignored it and continued driving.

Bang!

The bullet hit the glass, but the car was utterly fine.

Lyla frowned. “How could this be?”

“It’s bullet-proof glass!”

Lyla just nodded.

“Lyla, keep your head low and don't come out!” said Felix.

She looked at him, nodded, and kept her body low.

Felix did not deal with them. Instead, he accelerated and drove forward.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

A few more shots came their way.

Lyla held the gun. Her nervous hands were trembling as she squatted down, trying to think of a way quickly.

At this moment, she took out her mobile phone and wanted to make a call.

Just as soon as she took out her phone, the car suddenly braked. Her phone slipped out of her hand and fell.

The thing was, it fell into the gap of the car. She wanted to get it, but she could not get it out.

She became very anxious.

However, at that moment, she saw the watch on her wrist.

Right.
