Chapter 299 Being Overprotective

Mark was like a madman.

There was no news of Lyla.

Nothing at all.

No matter how he attacked Eastern Union, there was no news.

However, the more Felix hid, the more he attacked like a lunatic.

Even if he had to annihilate the entire Eastern Union, he had to force Felix to come out.

He did not believe that Felix would give up the Eastern Union for Lyla!

If that were the case, Mark would have to take his hat off to Felix.

Due to Mark’s crazy behavior, everyone was shocked.

Although Ghost Gate was at odds with Eastern Union, they had never attacked in such an open and public manner. Furthermore, it was a one-sided battle this time.

Eastern Union was on the defensive. It was as if Ghost Gate went mad.

During this period, rumors immediately popped up, causing a burst of speculation.

People who had a good relationship with Eastern Union originally wanted to help, but when they heard that Hell’s Angels were involved as well, they scrapped the idea.

Although Hell’s Angels only rose later, their strength should not be underestimated, especially in terms of firepower. No gangs could compare to them even if they joined hands.

Most importantly, they did not want to be cut off at the source.

Thus, they could not easily make an enemy of Hell’s Angels.

Therefore, the current situation was Mark frantically attacking Eastern Union with Hell’s Angels helping him. Everyone else watched from the side, some enjoying the suffering of others and some being worried.

That was because no one knew the reason for this.

“Daddy, we’ve destroyed a lot of Eastern Union’s territory during this period, but it seems Felix has no intention of coming out!” Hansel said.

Mark looked at him and thought about it before saying, “What kind of person do you think Felix is?”

“He’s very powerful and ambitious!”

“How can an ambitious person watch what he built to be destroyed? The reason why he can still be calm now is because we haven’t touched his bottom line…” Mark said leisurely.

“What if he really gives up Eastern Union for Mommy?” Hansel asked.

Mark’s lips curled in a cold smile. “At that time, there’ll be no need for me to take action!”

“That’s true. At that time, even the entire Eastern Union won’t obey him!” Hansel said.

These days, Mark was not as disheveled as the previous days.

He figured it out. Although Felix took Lyla away, at the very least, she was safe.

Moreover, they had known each other for many years. Felix would not do anything to hurt and make things difficult for Lyla.

Mark also trusted Lyla.

Thus, it was just a matter of time. Although he really, really, really missed Lyla… he had to endure.

At that moment, Hansel’s phone rang. He answered it upon seeing the number.

“Hello, Grandpa…”

“What? Okay, I’ll be right over!” Then, he hung up.

Mark looked at him. “What happened?”

“I heard Logan was beaten up!”

Hearing this, Mark frowned.

“Grandpa wants us to go take a look!”

“No!” Mark said. Matters here already made him upset, but Logan was still causing trouble outside.

Knowing that Mark was in the mod, Hansel did not force him. “Then, I’ll go myself, Daddy!”

Mark nodded.

Even if Hansel went alone, it was enough.

Thus, Hansel called Piers and Lingo. Originally, Lingo wanted to go, but when she heard that it was regarding Logan, she refused to go.

‘That idiot was really stupid.’

With no other choice, Hansel left with Piers.

When they almost arrived, the scuffle had ended. Logan was injured and sent to the hospital, so they had no choice but to go to the hospital.

In the hospital.

Logan was fine and only had a few bruises. There were quite a lot of injuries on his body, but there was nothing serious.

“Grandpa, what happened?”

Justin had a face of exasperation. He was disappointed with Logan.

“Ask him!” Then, he turned to the side.

Hansel looked at Logan. “Just what exactly happened?”

Logan looked at him and then at Piers, but did not see Logan. ‘Didn’t they always move in threes? Why were there only two people today?’

From his eyes, Hansel could already tell what he was looking for.

“Are you looking for Lingo?” He asked.

“Why didn’t she come with you?” Logan asked.

“Why, do you want to show her how badly you were beaten?”

Logan. “...I was going up against five people at once, okay?!” He said.

Hearing this, Justin swung his cane. “You still dare to say that? Why didn’t they just beat you to death!”

“Grandpa, grandpa!” Hansel hurriedly stopped him. “Don’t be angry. Calm down! Let me ask what’s going on first!”

“There’s no need to ask. I don’t know what this rotten brat has been up to recently. It’s fine if he just went to learn boxing and mixed martial arts, but now he’s running about picking fights with others. What an undisciplined child!”

Hansel, “...”

Uh.

Could it be...

Hansel looked at Logan. “Did you really go learn boxing and mixed martial arts?”

“Since when am I not a man of my words?”

Hansel, “...”

He did not expect Logan to take Lingo’s casual words seriously. It seems like he was quite serious...

Looking at the conversation between them, Justin sensed something fishy. “What is this? Do you know what’s going on?”

“Oh, I-I don’t know!” Hansel quickly shook his head, feigning ignorance.

This had nothing to do with him.
