Chapter 370 Groomsman And Bridesmaid

“Wh-what do you want?” Amanda looked at Neil and asked in an impatient tone.

“Well, I want to pursue you. What? Could it be that I haven’t expressed it clearly enough?” Neil asked with a smile. No matter how angry Amanda was or how she annoyed him, he still seemed to have a good temper.

Amanda felt helpless. “You --”

“What about me?”

Amanda did not know how to express herself. She then said in rage, “Stay away from me! I don’t want to see you!”

Neil did not become angry. Instead, he followed her lead and said with a smile. “People say that women never actually mean what they say. If they say that they don't want to see someone, then it means that they want to see them. I know that you want to see me!”

Amanda was almost angered to death. “Who told you that?”

“That’s what everyone says!”

“That’s what they say, not me!”

“I think what you just said also means the opposite!”

Amanda, “...”

‘Take a deep breath. Take a deep breath.’

Amanda persuaded herself to not get angered by him.

“Why don’t you say that you want to see me? Then I’ll know that you actually don’t want to see me!” Neil said. The sunshine shone on his face, making him look exceptionally gentle. His eyes seemed so gentle that Amanda did not know how to reject him.

“Okay, I want…” Amanda stopped halfway. This man was clearly tricking her.

Amanda glared at him furiously. “I can’t be bothered!” After she finished speaking, she turned and left.

Neil knew that he did not manage to trick her, but he was not giving in. He then caught up with her footsteps. “Where are you going? I’ll send you there!”

“There’s no need! I can take a taxi!”

“If I send you there, you can save time and energy, so isn’t that good?”

“There’s no need for that!” Amanda said. She then turned around and reached out her hand once she saw a taxi.

Soon, a taxi stopped. The moment Amanda opened the car door, Neil also opened the car door and sat in cheekily.

“Hey, you…”

Neil smiled at her. “Let’s go together!”

Amanda felt reluctant. “What on Earth do you want?”

“I want to be with you!”

Amanda, “...”

Amanda really could not communicate with this man. Upon thinking about this, she looked at the driver. “Sir, ask this guy to get out of the car!”

The driver looked at Neil. Neil then said, “Sir, it’s okay. Let’s go!”

“You --”

No matter how Amanda behaved, Neil seemed to stay calm.

“Sir, I’m the one who got the ride, so ask this guy to get out of the car. I don’t know him!”

“Okay, wifey, don’t be angry. It’s my fault. I don’t have any relationship with that person. The one I love the most is you!”

Amanda widened her eyes and looked at him in disbelief. What?

Upon hearing Neil’s words, the driver knew his meaning, so the driver said, “Missy, your husband treats you quite well. You should just forgive him since he has already admitted his fault!”

Amanda was speechless. “He isn’t my husband!”

“Wifey, I know that I was wrong. I swear that I won’t contact that person ever again!”

Amanda, “... Do you even have a limit?”

“Well, whatever you say it is, then that’s what it is!”

Amanda, “...”

Hearing Neil’s words, the driver in front laughed. “Alright missy, your husband has already admitted his faults like this, so just forgive him! I still have other matters, so don’t interrupt my business!”

“I… I already said that he isn’t my husband!”

“Okay, wifey, let’s not interrupt his business!” Neil said as he pulled her out of the car.

“Hey, let go of me! Let go of me!” Amanda struggled. However, she was still no match for Neil’s strength and was dragged out in the end.

“Thanks, sir!” Neil waved to the driver and thanked him. The driver smiled and drove off.

“Hey, I already said that I don’t know him!” Amanda was furious, but the driver had already driven off.

Amanda looked at Neil and thought for a moment. She then stomped her foot directly onto Neil’s foot.

At that moment, Neil’s expression changed.

Seeing this, Amanda quickly ran away without saying anything.

Neil watched her. He was in so much pain that he could not say anything. Even if he wanted to chase after her, his foot hurt so much that he could not move…

……

The Pattinsons’ home.

Once Amanda reached there, she seemed to be in a good mood. Just thinking that Neil could not catch up to her made her feel good.

Upon seeing this, Lyla furrowed her brows and asked, “What happened? You seem like you’re in a good mood today!”

“Huh? Really?”

“Actions speak louder than words, so say it. Did something good happen?” Lyla asked.

The moment Amanda thought about Neil’s expression just now, she became incredibly happy.

“Nothing! Nothing happened!” Amanda did not admit it.

Lyla raised an eyebrow, but she did not continue asking.

At this moment, the doorbell rang. The maid went to open the door, and a figure walked in.

Not only that but he also immediately walked towards Amanda while she was drinking some water. The moment she saw him, she almost spat the water out.

Amanda had not expected Neil would catch up so quickly. She had only arrived there not long ago.

Neil’s expression seemed to be a little gloomy as he looked straight at Amanda.

Lyla was sitting at the side and drinking some water. She then started observing them. What was happening?

At this moment, Mark came down from upstairs. Once he saw this scene, he immediately walked towards Lyla and put his arm over her shoulder. “What’s happening?”

Lyla shook her head. “I'm not sure!”

Thus, Mark and Lyla’s gaze fell on Neil and Amanda at the same time.

Amanda blinked her eyes, feeling a little guilty. “Why are you looking at me like that?!”

Neil did not say anything.

Amanda blinked as she looked towards another side. “Who asked you to keep on bothering me?!”

“Did you think that I'd stop bothering you if you did that?” Neil said as he took a step forward, forcing Amanda into a corner.
