Chapter 60 She Has Been Lying To You

After that one sentence, he did not wait for any responses and followed her out immediately.

"What happened? Are you drunk?"

Lyla suddenly heard a devilish voice behind her. As she turned her head, Mark's good-looking, seductive face that seemed to be half-smiling appeared before her eyes.

Lyla’s heart skipped a beat. Mark was indeed good-looking and seductive at any time and anywhere.

She glanced at him, winked, and smiled faintly. With that expression of her, she actually seemed to be somewhat in a daze as her cheek flushed. Lyla at that moment looked like an exceptionally charming woman.

"I just came out to get some fresh air, I feel much better now. I should go back!"

After saying, she was about to leave.

Her appearance sent Mark into a trance. This woman rarely had such a charming side. It was difficult for him to immediately return to his senses. When he got over his trance state, he quickly grabbed hold of her.

Lyla did not know what was happening when Mark pressed her against the wall instead. His tall and huge figure directly towered over her.

"You--"

Before Lyla could say anything, Mark suddenly held her down, leaned over, pressed against her soft and tender body, and kissed her lips.

Lyla’s head was spinning after Mark’s wild movements and kisses. Under the influence of alcohol, she became a little irrational as well. She only felt the cool smell of alcohol in Mark's mouth and somehow did not find it disgusting.

As Mark felt Lyla's body, his kiss was domineering and wild. The idea of kissing her had been implanted in his mind ever since he first saw her!

Lyla leaned against the wall. She felt a little difficulty breathing with the way he was kissing her. She clutched onto Mark's clothes tightly with both hands.

Mark seemed to realize Lyla's discomfort and then slowly ended his wild kiss. His arms were wrapped around Lyla and he did not let go of her.

Seeing how Lyla's chest heaved and her gasping for breath, he thought she was a little cute. His eyes narrowed slightly and he smiled indulgently as the corners of his mouth rose.

"Why do you want to leave whenever you see me? Hmm?" Mark's arms were still wrapped around her as he moved his good-looking seductive face closer in front of her.

Lyla was a little drunk, to begin with. After being kissed by Mark and being so close in proximity, she felt that the air between them was a little thin, and her breathing was a little hot.

Lyla leaned against the wall and did not even struggle. Instead, she said helplessly, "Mr. Pattinson, the distance between us is a bit too close. It’s hot!"

Her words made Mark dumbfounded.

Can this woman not be so calm all the time.

As Mark looked at her, he refused to let her go without answering his question. "Tell me, why did you want to leave after seeing me?

"Mr. Pattinson, you’re thinking too much. I just need to go back!" Lyla said calmly. With her eyes half-closed and her flushed cheeks, she looked a little drunk and was quite charming.

Mark leaned over and looked at her. He stared at her pink lips which shone with a seductive glow. It had a crystalline quality to it as if someone kissed them. His mood inevitably became greater.

"Is it so?" he asked back, his voice low.

"Yes!"

"Lyla, you’re lying!" Mark looked at her as his eyes darkened and said word by word with confidence.

Lyla was stunned for a moment and then showed him a flattering smile, "Mr. Pattinson, I don't understand what you mean!"

"You are in love with me!" Mark looked at her, his eyes as vivid as obsidian, dazzling, and thrilling.

Lyla smiled, "Mr. Pattinson, you’re really narcissistic. You’ve said this twice!"

"But, it’s the truth. Lyla, you should stop deceiving yourself. Just now, your kiss has betrayed you!" Mark said confidently with a hint of joy in his tone.

Yes, such an answer made him happy.

Lyla looked at him, "Mr. Pattinson, it’s natural for a normal man or woman to have a reaction when kissing. It doesn’t matter whether the other person likes it or not, a reaction will happen. This is what people call hormonal physiology, not love. If you said that the kiss had betrayed me, did that also mean yours did as well?!" Lyla looked back at him while refuting each remark one by one. Although she drank a lot of wine, her mind was very clear and rational.

Mark glanced at her coldly, how could this woman always find an excuse to reject him like this!

And he hated this feeling!

"So Mr. Pattinson, don't ask any more useless nonsense!" Lyla said.

"What nonsense?"

"Isn't it? Isn't it nonsense for someone who just got engaged and would be getting married soon? Or you, Mr. Pattinson, intend to cheat as soon as you’ve gotten engaged, and I should be so honored to be your first choice for cheating after getting engaged?" Lyla frowned and replied.

Mark frowned.

Must this woman have to be like a hedgehog!

"Lyla, do you know, I really want to strangle you!" Mark looked at her and said.

She was not able to see it just now, but now... he really seemed like it!

"Mr. Pattinson, be rational!"

"I'm very rational!" Mark said word by word, "Lyla, what do you want?"

Lyla looked at him, "Then what do you want?"

Mark was lost for words with that one question.

What did he want?

He did not know either.

But this woman made him feel something he had never felt before. She was like a magnet, constantly attracting him and making him want to get closer.

Seeing that he did not speak, Lyla laughed.

This was the nature of man.

The pursuit was only due to momentary feelings and excitement.

This was also the reason why she had always restrained her feelings. Even if Mark was outstanding, if she was not the only person he had feelings for, she would not want him, nor would she care!

Staring at that smile, Mark had an idea. He wanted to possess her as his own!

She would belong to him only!
