Chapter 63 One Month Pregnant

Everyone asked in unison.

The doctor walked out and took off the mask. “There are a few scratches on Ms. Turner’s body, but they are all superficial wounds. It isn’t anything serious, but she still has to be hospitalized for observation. Her body is very weak, and she may have a miscarriage!”

“Miscarriage?”

Everyone was stunned, and they looked at each other in disbelief.

“Ms. Turner has been pregnant for one month. Don’t you guys know?” the doctor asked.

One month?

Mark Pattinson frowned.

Aron Turner and Erica Thomson seemed happy. They did not expect Kathleen Turner to be that capable. As long as she was pregnant with Mark Pattinson’s child, he could never reject this marriage!

“Is what you said true? Doctor, she is pregnant?” Erica Thomson asked excitedly.

“Yes, but according to the patient’s current situation, her body is very weak, and she has to be hospitalized for observation. She can only be discharged after we make sure that there’s nothing wrong with her body,” the doctor said. He had to be professional as the people in front of him were the mayor and his wife. Despite that, his words showed that he was trying to please them.

Erica Thomson nodded repeatedly. “When can we go in and visit her then?”

“Ms. Turner will be transferred to a general ward soon. You guys can visit her later.”

“All right. Thank you, doctor!” Aron Turner said, looking like a good mayor.

The doctor nodded and left.

Aron Turner and Erica Thomson went to visit Kathleen Turner in the ward excitedly, but Mark Pattinson was still standing there. There was no trace of happiness on his handsome face.

Right then, Aron Turner turned around and looked at Mark Pattinson. “What’s wrong? Are you not happy that Kathleen is pregnant with your child?”

Mark Pattinson came back to his senses when he heard Aron Turner’s question.

“No,” he said indifferently.

Then, Aron Turner smiled. “Mark, you are going to be a father soon. Since Kathleen is pregnant with your child, you should quickly complete your wedding with her.”

At that time, he was thinking about what expression Eileen Dawson would show when she knew that Mark Pattinson had a child.

After all, there was an agreement between them.

Mark Pattinson would not have a child in ten years, but now…

Aron Turner could feel the pleasure of revenge in his heart!

“We should go in and visit Kathleen first,” Mark Pattinson said. He did not continue the conversation with Aron Turner.

Aron Turner nodded and went in with Mark Pattinson.

Kathleen Turner lay on the bed inside of the ward with her face slightly pale. Her pale face gave off a unique beauty, making her morbidly beautiful.

Aron Turner walked in with Erica Thomson. When Erica Thomson saw Kathleen Turner, she walked up as she felt sorry for her. “Kathleen…”

“Mom…” Kathleen Turner’s eyes inevitably turned red when she saw Erica Thomson. She suffered the most right now!

“Good girl, you have suffered. Don’t worry. I’ll help you to get things even!”

Kathleen Turner nodded with a pair of red eyes.

“All right, don’t cry anymore. The doctor said that you’re pregnant. Your body is weak as well, so you can’t be too emotional,” Erica Thomson said by the side. She really felt sorry for her.

Kathleen Turner was stunned.

Pregnant?

She blinked. “What did you say, Mom? Who is pregnant?”

“Silly girl, of course, you are the one who is pregnant. The doctor said that you have been pregnant for one month. How are you going to be a mother in the future if you act like this?” Erica Thomson scolded her kindly.

Kathleen Turner lay on the bed with a pale face. If she guessed according to the time, one month ago…

She did not dare to imagine it!

Kathleen Turner lay on the bed with a strange expression.

Mark Pattinson stood by the side expressionlessly. He looked at Kathleen Turner with a trace of doubt in his mind.

“Are you okay?” Erica Thomson asked when she saw Kathleen Turner keep silent.

Right then, Kathleen Turner cautiously looked at Mark Pattinson next to her.

Erica Thomson saw her reaction and thought that Kathleen Turner was afraid of Mark Pattinson getting angry. She smiled and said, “You don’t have to worry. Since you’re already pregnant, you should quickly complete your wedding with Mark. I believe that Mark won’t be irresponsible to you.”

Obviously, her words were meant for Mark Pattinson, who stood at the side.

Mark Pattinson to take the responsibility?

Kathleen Turner was stunned for a while. She looked at Mark Pattinson, who stood at the side but did not say anything.

Right then, Aron Turner said, “Tell me, Kathleen. How did you fall down the stairs, and why would you fall suddenly? I believe that Mark will definitely give you an explanation.”

“I…” Kathleen Turner was a little dizzy. She had not digested the news of her being pregnant yet. When Aron Turner questioned her, she felt a little dizzy.

“Someone said that you were pushed down. Is that right?” Aron Turner asked.

Mark Pattinson frowned. It was obvious that Aron Turner was prompting Kathleen Turner with his words.

Even if it was not the truth, Kathleen Turner would put the blame on Lyla based on her personality that abhorred evil.

As expected, Kathleen Turner looked at Aron Turner and nodded after a while. “It was…Lyla Lowe who pushed me down!”

It was just as Mark had expected.

Mark sneered when he heard Kathleen’s accusation.

“Hmph, women nowadays are so vicious. How could she do that?” Aron Turner was furious. He looked at Mark Pattinson after that. “Mark, you should handle this matter. I believe that you will definitely give Kathleen an explanation!”
