Chapter 62 Lyla Causes Trouble Again

“If you can slap me, why can’t I do the same to you?” Lyla looked at Kathleen Turner and asked. ‘Do you think that you’re superior just because you’re the mayor’s daughter?’

“You!” Kathleen Turner glared at her fiercely. This woman always looked calm no matter in what circumstances. Her calm expression could make other people go crazy.

Lyla sneered. “Kathleen Turner, I put up with you once because I want to show you some respect, but don’t be insatiable. Who do you think you are? The mayor’s daughter? What else do you have besides this title? But let me tell you. It isn’t a proud thing to rely on your father, so don’t show it off all day. Even I feel ashamed for you!” Lyla warned her clearly. Lily was not here. Otherwise, she would definitely give Lyla a round of applause for what she said!

What she said was simply too good and satisfying!

Kathleen Turner glared at Lyla fiercely. Lyla’s words suddenly made her speechless.

“So what? You’re nothing compared to me in your whole life. Regardless of what I rely on, you’re destined to lose to me in this life, Lyla Lowe!” Kathleen Turner shouted in anger.

“Oh, really? Then why are you giving me a hard time again now?”

“I’m obviously here to teach you a lesson because you seduced Mark!” Speaking of this, she thought of the photo, so she looked at Lyla and shouted angrily, “Lyla Lowe, I will definitely not let you have a peaceful life in Alpine City!”

Lyla frowned.

Seduced, Kathleen Turner used “seduced” again!

She used this word so frequently that even Lyla was tired of it.

Could she change to a new word?

Lyla looked at her impatiently. “Kathleen, can you use a new word? You use this word so frequently that even I am tired of it. Since you treasure Mark so much, why don’t you try your best to make him stay at home? And I’ll say it one more time: I didn’t seduce Mark, and I have nothing to do with him. You better get it clear and not offend me anymore. Otherwise, I will turn your words into reality!” Lyla also became slightly emotional when she said all of this.

She was really fed up with her unreasonable harassment. Besides, she said the last sentence with a dizzy mind as well.

As a result, her words made Kathleen Turner's expression change drastically.

She absolutely believed that Lyla had such an ability!

Otherwise, Mark Pattinson would not say that he wanted to give her his heart.

If she really decided to seduce him…

She dared not to imagine the consequences!

Lyla calmed down when she saw Kathleen Turner remain silent. "I’ve said what I had to say, so please stay away from me in the future. Don't ask for trouble!” She attempted to leave after she said that.

Lyla did not want to talk with her anymore because regardless of what she said and how she explained, Kathleen Turner still believed that she had seduced Mark Pattinson. No matter what she said, she would only think that she was lying, so what else could she say?

Kathleen Turner went crazy when she noticed that Lyla was about to leave.

"Lyla Lowe, you witch! I'll kill you!" Kathleen Turner said with a grimace and pounced on Lyla from behind.

Lyla had learned some self-defense skills from Felix Smith before. When she sensed that there was a danger behind her, she subconsciously dodged, so Kathleen Turner failed to pounce on her.

What was more important was that they were on the stairwell. When Kathleen Turner failed to pounce on Lyla, she lost balance and missed a step. She fell down the stairs.

“Ah!” Kathleen shouted.

When Lyla realized it and saw Kathleen fall, she extended her hand to pull her up, but she failed.

She saw Kathleen fall down the stairs right before her eyes.

Lyla blankly stood there. It was just a few steps, but…

After she came back to her senses, she immediately ran down. “Are you okay? Kathleen, are you okay?”

Kathleen Turner’s face was pale, and there were a few scratches on it. She could not say a word due to pain.

Right then, someone came over and happened to see this scene. That person looked at Lyla in shock, as if Lyla was the one who pushed Kathleen Turner down the stairs. That person was terrified and shouted after being stunned for a while, “Director Turner! Are you okay, Director Turner? Somebody comes! Director Turner fell down the stairs…”

…

Mark Pattinson walked into the company with a tired expression, but he still looked charming and noble.

After he drove away that day, he received a call from Neil Isaac unexpectedly. Something had happened in the United States, so he had rushed over there for two weeks.

Right after Mark Pattinson walked in, he saw everyone panicking.

“What happened?” Mark Pattinson asked coldly.

When the employee saw Mark Pattinson come back, he was slightly surprised. After all, he had not seen him for two weeks. Then, he came back to his senses. “Director Turner fell down the stairs!”

Mark Pattinson frowned and immediately rushed to the stairwell the next moment.

When Mark Pattinson walked in, Lyla was standing at the side while a few employees were busy carrying Kathleen Turner.

“Mr. Pattinson!”

When Lyla heard that, she looked up. The moment her gaze met Mark Pattinson’s gaze, they could sense many things from each other's eyes.

Mark Pattinson quickly moved his gaze away from Lyla and looked at the staircase. When he saw the person lying on the floor, he kept a straight face and walked there directly without further ado.

“Kathleen…” Mark Pattinson looked at her with a gloomy expression. “What happened?”

“I don’t know. I only know that Ms. Lowe and Director Turner were quarreling here. When I came in, I saw Director Turner fall down the stairs…” the employee said vaguely. He was implying that Lyla was the one who pushed Kathleen Turner down.
