Chapter 173 Mr. Pattinson Said You're Married

Lyla Lowe rolled her eyes at Mark and said, "You should get some rest!"

"But we haven’t finished what we started..."

Mark was unrelenting.

Lyla was helpless and said, "You’re still injured!"

"My mouth’s not injured though."

Lyla was rendered speechless.

"Come on, let’s continue..."

Mark whined like a little child and demanded a kiss from Lyla.

At this moment, Gretel could not help it and burst out laughing.

Lyla looked behind her and asked, "Who’s there?"

Hansel glared at Gretel, blaming her for laughing out loud. Lyla also saw them and said, "Come out!"

The twins slowly walked out side by side and said in unison, "Mommy!"

They looked at their parents and smiled.

Only then did Lyla recall how Hansel had scared her before.

Lyla sat on the chair next to Mark's bed with her legs crossed. She looked like a queen as she gestured for Hansel to go over with her index finger. She said sternly, "Come here!"

Hansel said to Gretel, "Mommy’s calling you, go over!"

"I'm talking about you!"

Hansel was dumbfounded.

Gretel laughed cheekily and said, "That's the price you have to pay for lying to Mommy!"

"You talk as if you didn't watch the show!"

"I'm watching it for free, and you're being charged for it!"

Hansel rolled his eyes at Gretel.

Lyla yelled, "What are you two muttering about? Come over here now!"

Only then did Hansel walk up to Lyla. He smiled sweetly at her and pleaded, "Mommy!"

Lyla smiled sweetly back at him and questioned, "Earlier, what did you say happened to Daddy?"

"I...I didn’t say anything about Daddy!"

"Then why were you stammering?"

Hansel argued, "I just stammered, but I didn't say anything about Daddy..."

"You...you still want to argue, huh?"

Lyla was so angry that she grabbed his ear.

Hansel felt helpless and thought, ‘Why does everyone like to pull my ear?’

"Mommy, it hurts!"

"Do you admit your fault now?"

"Yes, I’m wrong..."

Hansel immediately admitted his mistake.

Lyla's anger subsided a little and she finally let go of him.

Hansel touched his sore ear and said, “Mommy, I only did it for your own good.”

"For my own good?"

"Look, if it wasn't for my little trick, how could you and Daddy..."

As he said this, Hansel brought both his thumbs together and smiled with a mischievous face.

The hell.

These two saw everything.

Lyla was more certain that Hansel had done this on purpose.

She did not get to reply before Mark spoke, "Well done, son! You’re Daddy’s good boy!"

Hansel immediately smiled and said, "Thanks for the compliment, Daddy!"

Lyla looked at Mark incredulously and said, "You’re condoning this behavior?"

"I just think we shouldn’t neglect our son's good intentions for us. It's not easy for him either!"

Lyla was once again speechless.

Hansel nodded repeatedly as if he was saying, “Yeah, yeah, it's not easy for me either.”

“I just wanted you guys to be together...”

"So you guys are a team now?" Lyla asked and smiled, but that smile looked more like a warning.

Mark finally got his wife with much effort and immediately took a stand. He quickly said, "No, I’m always on your side!"

He then coyly added, "Whether it’s my heart or body, I’m all yours!"

Everyone was dumbfounded.

Hansel just rolled his eyes at Mark and thought, ‘Way to go, Dad...’

Mark looked at him and said, "I don’t have a choice. Be more considerate of your poor father since Mommy just started to accept me..."

Hansel compromised and said, "Fine!"

He would do whatever it took for the sake of his parents’ happiness.

Hansel looked at Lyla with a sweet smile and said, "Mommy, you guys just woke up and must have a lot to say to each other. Take your time to talk it out. I'll go and get some food!"

"Go ahead!" Mark said as he smiled and waited impatiently for Hansel to leave. They still had things to do.

Lyla said, "I want you to cook!"

"Okay, I'll go back and make it for you now!"

Lyla smiled faintly and said, "Good boy. I forgive you now!"

Hansel was speechless.

He turned around and walked out.

However, Gretel stood in place and had no intention to leave.

Hansel tugged on her arm and said, "Let’s go!"

"Mommy told you to go, not me!"

Hansel took a deep breath and whispered in her ear. Gretel then instantly understood what he meant and nodded her head. She echoed, "Oh okay, let’s go then!"

Thus, the twins disappeared from the ward.

Watching them leave, Mark was in a great mood and looked at Lyla with burning desire. He said, "Honey..."

Honey?

Lyla glared at him and said, "Act normal!"
