Chapter 255 The Twins’ Prank

Logan did not expect that he would lose them and was enraged.

He searched both roads, but could not find them anywhere.

It was obvious that they had noticed him and deliberately dumped him.

Logan became more suspicious because of this. He thought, ‘They sneaked out in the middle of the night and ditched him. What was going on?’

......

After ditching Logan, Piers was much more relieved. He continued driving and soon, they arrived at their destination.

Lingo was already waiting for them.

Nowadays, Piers' home was their base.

As soon as they went inside, they saw Lingo sitting inside with a serious face.

Hansel looked at her and asked, "What's up? You’re so anxious to meet us. Is there something wrong?"

Lingo pursed his lips and said, "I just received news that Felix Smith has started to go against Hell’s Angels!"

Hansel frowned and asked, "When did that happen?"

"I just received the news. Probably these two days."

"How could this happen!" Gretel asked incredulously. If Felix was going against Hell’s Angels, that meant they would become rivals in the future. Gretel was very uncomfortable with this. After all, Felix loved her. She simply could not bear to do anything that would hurt him.

Lingo said, "The most important thing now is how we respond. Jack knew that Felix helped you in Rome, so they specially asked me to get your opinion on this."

Hansel pursed his lips. His face was tense.

He clearly did not want to see this situation, especially when Felix had just helped them. He could not turn the gun on him no matter what.

Even if he separated his work and private affairs, he still could not do it.

After thinking for a long time, Hansel spoke, "I won’t be involved in this."

"What do you mean?"

"If Felix really wants to go against Hell’s Angels, I don't have any opinion. You guys are free to do as you please. Just pretend that I’m not part of Hell’s Angels because I owe him a favor."

Lingo understood what he meant and nodded, then said, "Alright then."

"Let Jack see to it!" Hansel said. He also knew that he could not stop the gang from doing anything just because of his private affairs. Thus, the best thing to do was to not be involved.

Lingo nodded and said, "Okay!"

Gretel was silent on the side and seemed to be thinking about something.

Hansel looked at her and asked, "What's wrong?"

She asked, "Must it be like this?"

Hansel explained, "Now it's not that Hell’s Angels wants to find trouble with Felix. He’s the one who took the initiative. Hell’s Angels can't just sit back and let them attack."

"I know, but why do I have such a weird feeling?"

"What?"

"Did Felix suspect our identity? Is that why he’s doing this?"

Speaking of this, Hansel's brow furrowed.

Lingo's face also sank and the two looked at each other.

Hansel asked, "Why do you say that?"

Gretel replied, "I don’t know exactly. I just remember that one night, Felix came over and stared at my watch for a long time. Later, he looked at me weirdly. I didn't think much about it at the time because I thought he fought with Mommy. Now that I think about it, it's a bit strange..."

Her statement reinforced the fact that Felix seemed to have discovered their identity.

If that was the case...

Things would be even more complicated.

Lingo said, "What Gretel said is possible. Felix always used to keep a certain distance with Hell’s Angels, yet now he’s going against us out of the blue."

This attack was a bit too sudden and shocked her.

"If he’s just testing us… then that’s fine because it means that he just wants to know our identity and doesn't really mean to be enemies with Hell’s Angels. My biggest fear is that he really wants to be rivals with Hell’s Angels. Regardless of the result, I’ll still feel a little uncomfortable. So if it’s just this, then it’s better!"

Lingo said, "I also think that this happened too suddenly. I’ll talk about this with Jack."

"Mm!" Hansel nodded his head.

Lingo stood to the side and did not say more.

"There’s one more thing!"

"What?"

"Jack wants you guys to return to the team as soon as possible."

As soon as she said that, the twins looked at each other.

"Initially, he was worried that someone would find out about your identities. If Felix found out, then there’s a chance that others would know as well, so for your safety, you guys should go back as soon as possible."

"Now?"

Lingo said, "Jack said that when the time comes, Orpheus will come to pick you up. I'm just giving you guys a heads up so that you can be mentally prepared."

Sooner or later, this day would come.

Hansel knew.

He also did not resist.

It was just that he would miss his family if they left like this.

"Alright." Hansel nodded.

Lingo said, "As for Gretel, Jack will get our people to examine her to see if there are any toxins that remained in her body."

"Okay."

......

On the way back.

Hansel and Gretel sat in the backseat and both of them did not speak.

After a while, Gretel looked at Hansel and said, "Brother, there’s not much time left before we leave. Are you willing to go just like that?"

"I’m not."

"Then what should we do?"

Hansel turned to look at Gretel. Even though they did not speak, they knew what each other was thinking with just one glance.

At last, the two of them laughed.

"Okay, let's do it!"

"Okay!"

Piers looked confused in front and asked, "What are you guys going to do?"

"What does it have to do with you? Adults shouldn’t ask about children's matters!"

Piers did not know how to refute that.
