Chapter 256 Gretel’s Unique Bones

Logan frowned. He was unhappy about it, but he had no choice and followed Justin’s orders.

He had to put Hansel down.

Once he put Hansel down, Hansel directly jumped into Justin's arms and said, "Grandpa, he bullied me!"

"I..."

"He bullied me...I want to go home!" Hansel could not bring himself to cry, but he was good at pretending.

At that moment, he did not have his usual domineering look. Instead, he looked like a regular child being bullied.

Justin got angry and yelled at Logan, "How old are you? You’re bullying a child? Can’t you just let him be?"

"Dad, I..."

"What? He’s also part of our family, if you bully him again, I won’t be kind!" Justin warned Logan.

At that time, Hansel looked back and revealed a quirky smile.

Logan became even more furious.

"Dad!!!"

He had always been favored in the family before, but because of the twins, he had been neglected.

Logan said anxiously, "I didn’t bully him! He's the one bullying me!"

"Ha! Do you think I'm three years old? How old is he and how old are you? How can he possibly bully you?"

Logan pointed at Hansel and said, "Don't look at his age. He has a lot of mischievous ideas!"

Justin also looked at Hansel.

However, Hansel shook his head aggressively and said, "I didn't! I really didn't!"

The main point was not whether Hansel was lying, but that Justin coddled him, so Justin believed whatever he said without a doubt.

Justin looked at Logan and said, "Even if that’s the case, can't you just let him be?"

Logan simply wanted to cry and said, "Dad!"

"Alright, stop it! Don’t be a good-for-nothing!"

Logan was speechless.

He was so angry!

Logan glared at Hansel, who looked smug. Hansel thought, ‘Now I know why Gretel likes to use this trick. It’s pretty great!’

"Grandpa, you’re the best!" As he said this, Hansel attentively went to get some tea and poured Justin a cup.

"Grandpa, have some tea!"

"Good boy!"

Seeing the grandfather and grandson looking so harmonious, Logan wanted to rush up and grab Hansel to tell him the truth!

After pondering, Logan asked, "What did you do last night?"

Uh, Hansel paused in his movement.

Hansel then pretended not to hear him and said, "Grandpa, have some more!"

Justin obliged, then looked at Logan and asked, "What nonsense are you spouting now?"

Logan pointed at Hansel and said, "Dad, last night at 3:00 am, he snuck out with Gretel!"

"How is that possible?"

"You should ask him whether it’s possible. If not, you can just check the surveillance cameras!"

Hansel was just about to deny it, but he had not expected that the Pattinson family home would have surveillance cameras.

How could such a big villa not have surveillance cameras though?

Justin looked at Hansel and asked, "Is it true what he said?"

"Uh, this..."

"Tell the truth!"

Hansel was helpless and finally nodded. "Yes!"

Justin asked, "What did you do at 3:00 am when you went out?"

"Yesterday, my sister and I felt a little hungry, so we went out to eat!"

"Went out to eat at 3:00 am?"

"Yup!" Hansel nodded his head without the slightest bit of guilt.

"Couldn't you just wake the nanny?"

"It was too late and I suddenly had a craving for KFC, so we went!"

"Impossible!"

"What's impossible?"

Logan asked, "Who picked you up? And why did you ditch me?"

Hansel asked him back, "You stalked me?"

"I...I was following you because I was afraid that if you got lost, Mark would certainly come to look for trouble!" As he said this, Logan looked to the side to hide his embarrassment.

Who would believe what he said?

Justin looked at Hansel.

Hansel was not nervous and said, “I was chatting with a friend last night, so we decided to grab a bite.”

Justin nodded as if he was thinking about something and finally said, “Next time, don’t go out so late. What if something happens to you?”

"Yes, Grandpa. I won’t!" Hansel revealed a big smile.

At that moment, Gretel walked out of the bedroom, wearing her pink pajamas and big cotton slippers. She was holding a small bear as she walked out lazily.

"Why are you guys so noisy this early in the morning?" She said as she looked at the people in the living room. She then walked over and plopped down on the sofa.

Justin smiled kindly and asked, "Did you have a good sleep?"

"No..." Gretel said without opening her eyes.

Justin asked, "Are you hungry? Do you want to eat something?"

When he said this, Logan suddenly remembered something and asked, "How was KFC yesterday?"

As soon as Logan said this, Hansel wanted to answer, but Gretel got to it first and said, "Who even eats KFC? I don't eat that kind of garbage!"

Hansel was speechless.

The corners of Logan's mouth hooked up into a smile and he asked, "But didn’t you guys go out last night to eat KFC?"

Speaking of this, Gretel froze. She then got up and raised her eyes to look at Hansel.

Hansel did not say anything, but shot her a helpless glance. Gretel then understood.

Gretel suddenly said, "Oh, I just recalled! We did go out yesterday to eat. It must’ve slipped my mind because I didn’t sleep well. I’ll go back to my room and sleep for a while!" After saying that, she got up, dragged her slippers, and left.

This left the group speechless as they stared at her from behind.

Although Justin did not say anything else, he looked at Hansel's eyes and thought that it was deep.
