Chapter 257 Heart Throbbing

While they were chatting enthusiastically, there was a knock on the door and it opened.

Justin appeared at the doorway and asked, "Are you asleep yet?"

Hansel was a little startled, but he smiled and responded calmly, "Not yet."

"What are you doing?" Justin asked and walked in.

"Playing games."

When Justin looked over, Hansel closed his laptop.

Justin took a glance, then smiled and said, "It's late. Sleep early and stop playing."

"Okay. Are you looking for me for something?"

"Nope, I just came to check on you and chat."

"Do you want to sit?" Hansel asked.

Justin raised an eyebrow and said, "Sure!"

They sat in Hansel's room and started chatting.

Hansel went and poured them two glasses of water.

"Grandpa, there’s something I want to tell you."

"What?"

"Since you approve of Daddy and Mummy being together now, why not ask them to get married sooner?" Hansel said. Since he intended to rush them, he had to start here.

"Whether they get married is none of my business. I'm not going to rush them."

"Shouldn't you be the one to rush them?"

"What does it have to do with me? Besides, I couldn't control your dad ever since he was a kid!"

Hansel asked, "You can't control him or you just didn't bother?"

Justin did not know how to respond.

He did not expect to be roped into this. His face sank and said, "You little brat! What? Are you trying to collect the debts on behalf of your dad?"

Hansel laughed and said, "I just want to increase the population of the Pattinson family!"

"Then you should push them!"

"Grandpa, you’ve never controlled my dad since he was a child. It’s not that you can't control him, it’s just that you’re not used to it. Daddy is actually very eager for fatherly love. When he was young, he always hoped that you could pay attention to him and control him like other kids, but..." Hansel looked at Justin. When Hansel talked about this, Justin’s face was not very pleasant.

Hansel continued, "So, what I’m trying to say is that Daddy actually hopes that you’ll try to control him. If you ask him to get married quickly, he’ll be very happy!"

Justin was sitting down and glanced at him as he asked, "Are you sure?"

He nodded his head and said, "A hundred percent sure!"

Justin was deep in thought. It was not that he did not want to mend his relationship with Mark. It was just that the two of them were too used to being cold to each other for so many years. If he were to act caring all of a sudden, Mark would not know what to do.

As he considered this, he tilted his head and looked at Hansel, then asked, "You don’t blame me for how I used to treat your dad?"

"Of course I do!"

Justin's face sank once again.

Hansel said, "But what I value more is the present. Daddy is longing for affection and I don't want him to live in hatred for the rest of his life!"

After hearing this, Justin did not have any other comment. He even felt ashamed. He did not expect that a child could be more open-minded than him.

Were adults too complicated or were children too simple-minded?

He smiled bitterly.

Hansel smiled and walked over to say, "What's more, you were so eager to accept me into the family. I’m a soft-hearted person, so I had no choice but to reluctantly agree!"

At the sound of this, Justin said, “Who are you talking about? You smug little sh*t!”

Hansel laughed and said, “Isn’t it? Didn’t you hate me last time? Then I later won you over because I was too charming!”

Justin said, "....Shameless little brat!"

Hansel continued to laugh.

"So are you going to talk to Daddy?"

"We’ll see..."

"No, you have to do it soon!"

"What are you in such a hurry for?"

"Uh...I'm just afraid that if Daddy remembers, it’ll be meaningless when you mention it again. So you must say it before he thinks about it. Daddy will definitely appreciate it!"

Hansel's ability to make things up was particularly strong.

Justin was thus fooled and convinced by him.

"Since it’s your idea, if we get into a fight later, it’s all your fault!"

"Okay, if anything happens when the time comes, I'll take the blame!"

"I’ll remember this!"

"I, Hansel Lowe, have always kept my word!"

At the mention of his name, Justin suddenly thought of something and asked, "Why did your mom name you both like this?"

"You mean, Hansel Lowe and Gretel Lowe?"

Justin looked disgusted and said, "The names don’t even have a nice ring to it. Hansel Pattinson and Gretel Pattinson sound much better!"

Hansel was speechless.

Justin could just say that he wanted them to change their last name, but he had to beat around the bush and say their names did not sound nice.

"In that case, you have to persuade Daddy to marry Mummy. That way, I can change my last name to Pattinson. Otherwise, Daddy said that I can just keep Mummy's last name."

Justin was so agitated by this that he almost jumped up. He said, "How can this be! How can my grandchildren be Lowes? I’ll be a laughing stock if others find out!"

"So you have to remind Daddy soon!"

"Hmph, I'll find them tomorrow!" Now that Justin had an excuse, he felt more justified.

"Okay!" Hansel smiled and nodded his head.

......

The next day.

Early in the morning.

Before Hansel was awake, Justin dragged him up from the bed.

"Grandpa, what are you doing?" Hansel was so sleepy because he had been talking with Jack and the others till it was late and had just fallen asleep.

"Let’s go find your dad!"

"For what?"
