Chapter 264 The Twins Planning For Revenge

The Lowe Advertising Agency was then also included as one of the selections for M.K. Corporation’s advertisement project.

When the news spread, many people talked about it. After all, M.K. Corporation was targeting some large companies. However, since they suddenly selected a small company that was not well-known, this was indeed surprising and suspicious.

Everyone did not understand Mark’s approach. Why on earth did he do that?

Soon, the news spread throughout the company.

The design department also discussed this matter that day.

“Have you heard? A company called the Lowe Advertising Agency was also selected by our company!”

“I’ve heard it, but I’ve never about the Lowe Advertising Agency before!”

“Lowe Advertising?” A colleague frowned. “It seems to be a small company, not sure where I’ve seen it before!”

“I heard that they’re not bad even though they’re a small company, but I don’t know how they got selected by our company!”

“Doesn't Mr. Pattinson only use advertisements from big companies for all this time?”

“Yeah, this is the most puzzling part. Mr. Pattinson really doesn't like taking the usual paths!”

“That's true. If everyone can do that, then we might be able to become president!”

The design department laughed as they chatted.

Lyla was looking at the design drawing. After hearing their conversation, she was taken aback.

Lowe Advertising?

She frowned. How could this be?

She thought about how Mark took her out the other day and the questions he asked her, and now...

Lyla thought of something. She put down the design, stepped onto her three-inch high heels, and walked towards Mark’s office.

“Why’s their last name also ‘Lowe’ though? Does this have anything to do with Lyla?” someone suddenly realized this and asked.

“Lyla, where are you going?” Just as they were about to ask, they saw Lyla leaving in a hurry.

The design department felt even more confused about it.

When Lyla arrived at Mark's office, she rushed in without knocking on the door.

Mark was working as he heard the movement and looked up. When he saw Lyla, he did not get angry. Obviously, Mark would not get angry no matter what Lyla did.

Not to mention such a trivial matter of breaking into his office, even he belonged to her.

“What’s the matter?” Mark asked softly.

“Amelia came to meet you?” Lyla asked immediately without beating around the bush.

Mark was stunned for a moment. “Who did you hear it from?”

“Just answer me, yes or no?” Lyla asked.

Mark hesitated, then nodded and said, “Yes!”

“So that’s why you added Lowe Advertising as one of the choices for our advertisement too?” Lyla asked agitatedly.

Mark walked towards her. “Lyla, listen to me!”

“Why didn’t you tell me?” Lyla asked with a somewhat angry tone.

Mark pressed his lips together, thought about it, and said, “I just don't want to make you angry!”

“If that's the case, then why did you add them to the selection? They simply don't meet your standards, right?” Lyla asked.

It was seen that Lyla was a little agitated and angry.

“Lyla, listen to me!"

Lyla stopped talking and looked straight at him.

“Yes, they did come to me, and they don’t meet our company's standards. However, they’re still your family after all!”

“Family… Haha!” Lyla smiled sarcastically.

“When you asked me about my family, you already knew all about it right?”

Mark nodded.

Lyla did not know what to say. “You already knew everything, so you should have also known that I hate them!”

“Lyla!”

“Also, Mark, I know that you’re doing this for my own good. However, I hope you can make a clear distinction between work and private matters. Don’t affect the company’s development because of these things, this isn’t like you!” Lyla looked at him and said.

“Are you serious?”

“Yes!” Lyla nodded seriously.

“I understand!” Mark nodded. “It’s my fault that I didn't tell you this matter in advance. Don't be angry, okay?”

Lyla did not know what to say. She was not a little girl, so she would not just keep being angry. On the contrary, she also knew very well that Mark did this because of her.

Lyla stretched out her arms and hugged him. “Mark, I know you’re doing this for my own good, but these are my personal matters. I hope you can respect me!”

Mark thought for a while and nodded.

In the end, Lowe Advertising was removed from their selection.

Lyla had just got off work and was about to leave the company when Amelia rushed out from nowhere. She then rushed towards Lyla.

Fortunately, Lyla had learned a certain degree of self-defense and managed to avoid her.

She looked at Amelia. “What are you doing?”

“Lyla Lowe, you little b*tch! Do you know that you’ll get payback because of this!” Amelia looked at her and shouted.

Lyla frowned.

“Are you trying to force your dad to the edge?” Amelia yelled at her at the entrance of M.K. Corporation. Many people gathered around as it was the peak hour, hence many people were leaving work.

The more people surrounded, the more aggressive Amelia was.

“Even if you hate me, you can't do such a thing! Now that the company’s going to close down. Not only did you not try saving it, but you also stopped me from doing so! Will you only be satisfied once you force your dad to the edge? If I knew this would happen, I would rather kill you from the start than have a daughter like you!”

Her words sounded ugly, but Lyla had long been used to it.
