Chapter 295 All Planned

It had been two days.

There was still no news about Lyla.

Calls would not get through to her either.

Mark could not wait any longer. It was impossible for him to just continue waiting like this.

He knew Lyla too well. She would never ignore calls for no reason, nor would she disappear without a trace for two days.

Lyla knew that they would be worried about her, so she would not make them worry like this.

Therefore, Mark planned to go there again.

At this moment, Hansel and Gretel came back from outside. “Daddy!”

“How was it?”

Hansel shook his head. “I can’t get the location. If Mommy is really in the hospital or hotel, then I can definitely find her, but now…”

Mark was just worried that something had happened to Lyla at first, he was not only worried, but he was also sure about it.

He wanted to go there.

“Daddy, where are you going?”

“To look for your mommy!”

“Do you think that Mommy will still be there?” Hansel asked.

“I don’t know, but I can’t be at ease if I don’t go!” Mark said with a gloomy expression.

He seemed to have thought of something and looked at Hansel. “Contact Felix immediately!”

“I’ve tried contacting him…” Gretel said softly at that moment. Their eyes were now on her. “It’s the same as Mommy. I can’t contact him either!”

Bang!

Mark kicked over a table at the side fiercely.

“Damn you! Felix Smith!” Mark shouted.

Mark was utterly sure that this was Felix’s plan at that point.

Hansel and Gretel could only look at him from the side, not knowing how to comfort him.

They had the same thought. This matter sure had something to do with Felix.

However, if that were the case, then what they were worried about the most was not their mommy’s safety. They were worried that this matter could never be settled…

At that moment, Mark’s phone rang.

Mark stood at the side and did not answer it. However, it rang continuously, so Mark finally got back to his senses, and took out his phone after a while.

Upon seeing that Neil was calling him, Mark was startled for a moment and immediately answered it. “How is it?”

"It’s just as you expected. Felix was indeed shot in the brain, but it wasn’t as serious as it’s said. That doctor also resigned after Felix left. Unfortunately for him, I found him and threatened him. He told me the truth. It was Felix who asked him to say all of that!” Neil said over the phone.

Mark felt as if his heart had sunk to the bottom of the ocean, making him unable to see or feel anything.

He should have thought of it a long time ago. He should have checked it long ago.

However, he did not expect that Felix planned the whole thing.

Mark held his phone with such strength that it could almost crush the phone.

Hansel and Gretel watched from the side. Although they could not hear what was said from the other side, it was not a good thing. They could tell just by looking at their daddy’s reactions.

“Mark? Mark?” Neil called out to him several times on the phone.

“Yeah!”

“What are you going to do?”

“I lost contact with Lyla, so what do you think I’ll do?” No one knew how much anger Mark had held in to become this calm.

It was like an otherworldly feeling. Mark felt so calm that even he thought that it was scary.

Neil was taken aback for a moment. “Since when?”

“Two days ago!”

Neil sneered and said, “Looks like Felix had it all planned!”

Mark did not say anything. Although he looked calm at that moment, his eyes showed hints of anger. It was the kind of anger that could explode at any time.

“What are you planning to do?”

“If Felix doesn't hand over her, I swear that I’ll make the whole Eastern Union pay!” Mark said word by word.

Hansel and Gretel looked at him and knew that something serious was going on.

The scene they least wanted to happen had still happened.

The siblings glanced at each other, not knowing what to say.

At this moment, Mark hung up the phone, turned his head, and looked at them with deep eyes.

“Daddy, what on Earth happened?” Gretel asked.

A mocking smile appeared from the corners of Mark’s lips. He then left without saying anything.

It was clear to see that Daddy had just received a hard blow. They had never seen him like that before. He looked as if he had just lost half of his life, which would make people feel distressed for him.

“Brother, what should we do?” Gretel had no idea at the moment. There was no news from Mommy, and Daddy had become like that. She was so confused that she did not know what to do.

Hansel thought about it for a moment and said, “I’ll give Neil a call first to know the situation!”

Yes, they needed to first understand the situation. Gretel nodded repeatedly. “Okay, call him quickly!”

“Neil, it’s me!”

“I knew it, I knew that you’ll call me!” said Neil.

“What on Earth happened?

“Your daddy didn’t say anything?”

“No, he already went out!”

“Looks like the blow he just received wasn’t light at all!” Even if Neil did not look into it, he still could guess the situation.

“What happened?”

Thus, Neil told Hansel what he had found out. Hansel was also shocked once he heard it.
