Chapter 336 I Want You

“Lyla, I think Mr. Pattinson really is innocent!” Lily said at this moment. She could not bear watching any longer.

“Could he be planning to wait here all night?” Amanda asked. Everyone was on Mark’s side at that moment.

In any case, such a desperate plan seemed to be useful.

Given that it was used properly.

“What’ll you do if he does that?” Emmy raised an eyebrow.

Thus, the three of them glanced towards Lyla.

How could Lyla not understand Mark’s feelings? It was just that…

Even Lyla did not know why she was hesitating or what she was thinking about.

Maybe she just did not know how to face him after so long.

“Ahh! Why are you all looking at me like that?” Lyla asked, feeling troubled in her heart.

“Since the misunderstanding has been solved, what are you still hesitating about? There aren’t many men who are like Mr. Pattinson left now!” Emmy asked.

Lyla closed her eyes. She did not know as well.

“Are you going to let him wait downstairs for the whole night?” Lily also asked.

Although they said that most men were scumbags, they were still moved upon seeing Mark’s sincerity towards Lyla.

This world was not just filled with scumbags.

“Alright, you all should go sleep first!” Lyla said, “I want to be alone for a while!”

Amanda was about to say something. However, she was stopped and silenced by Emmy when Emmy gave her a look.

“Alright then, we’ll be going to sleep now. You should also sleep earlier!” Emmy said. They then went to their rooms after Emmy finished speaking.

Lyla sat on the couch in the living room alone. Seeing that they had gone to their rooms, she looked towards the outside. After thinking about it for a moment, she stood up and walked over.

Lyla carefully looked downstairs.

Mark was still wandering around.

Lyla frowned as she watched him.

When one loved someone, one would feel distressed whenever their significant other did something for them.

This was no different for Lyla. She could not bear watching Mark like this and would feel distressed for him.

Even she did not know what she was hesitating about.

At this moment, Mark got into the car. Lyla thought that he was going to leave, so she became a little anxious. However, when Mark got into the car, the car did not move, nor were the headlights turned on. Only then did Lyla let out a breath of relief and smile.

For some reason, Lyla suddenly had a thought. She wanted to be with Mark without any care.

At that moment, whatever hesitations Lyla had in her heart were put aside regardless of her principles.

Lyla immediately went downstairs after thinking about this.

Once she left, the door of Amanda’s room was gently opened, revealing a small gap.

“How is it? I’ve guessed it correctly, right?” Emmy said in a bragging manner.

“They won’t be arguing downstairs, right?!”

“How can they? She decided to go downstairs, so this means that she has figured things out. Lyla doesn’t like having arguments. She’d rather ignore him!”

“How do you know?” Amanda asked.

“Of course I know! I’ve known her since I was young. If you don’t believe it, then let’s go take a look!” Emmy said.

Amanda and Lily nodded simultaneously. The three of them then tiptoed to the balcony.

……

Meanwhile, downstairs.

Lyla walked downstairs and walked towards Mark’s car. Mark was sitting in the car and was about to sleep. However, he felt that someone was looking at him from the outside. The moment he took a look outside, he thought that he was seeing things.

“Lyla!”

Mark called out Lyla’s name. He then pushed open the car door, walked out, and ran towards Lyla.

“It’s really you?”

Lyla looked at Mark. “Why are you still here?”

“Of course, I was waiting for you…” Mark was stunned for a moment after he finished speaking. “You knew that I was here?”

Lyla did not deny him. Her clear eyes continued to stare at him.

Mark suddenly realized that it must be Hansel and Gretel who betrayed him. Nonetheless, he was not in the mood to care about this at that moment. Instead, he looked at Lyla. “Since you’re willing to come out and meet me, does this mean that you’re not angry anymore?”

“I was never angry at you…” Lyla said, “I was angry at myself!”

After hearing her words, Mark immediately stepped forward and pulled her into his arms.

“I don’t care who you are angry at, but don’t ever ignore me! Otherwise, I’ll go crazy!”

Feeling his strength and warmth, Lyla was indescribably moved. Indeed, she was not angry at him. She was blaming the cruel reality for making her not know how to face Mark.

At this moment, she knew that everything was a misunderstanding. They still had each other in their hearts, so why should she even think about anything else?

“But you’re already someone who has a fiancee!”

“My fiancee is you! It was always you!”

“Lyla, I know that I was wrong. I shouldn’t be like that. However, I thought that you were gone, so living became a responsibility to me. No matter who the people around me are, it’s fine as long as they don’t demand anything from me. Lyla, the only one who can decide whether my heart is dead or alive is you!” Mark looked at Lyla and said word by word.

Tears filled Lyla’s eyes as she heard Mark’s words.

What else could Lyla complain about since he had already said all this? During this period, she was not the only one who had suffered. It was also the same for him.

Sometimes, mental torture could be even more tormenting than physical torture.

“Next time, you’re not allowed to be like this anymore!” Lyla said.

Mark was shaken for a moment. “As long as you’re by my side, I’ll listen to everything you say!’

Lyla smiled at him. “Silly!”

Anyone could tell from Lyla’s words that she was not angry anymore.

Lyla was not angry anymore.

Mark looked at her as he touched her face. His excitement was beyond words. Within the next second, he kissed her on the lips…

It was a long, tender kiss filled with longing and affection that had been held in for a long time.

They hugged and kissed under the dim lights.

On the other hand, Amanda, Emmy, and Lily watched this scene from upstairs. They were unable to hold in the excitement in their hearts.
