“Did you live like that before as well?” Lyla frowned and asked Mark.

Mark gave her a sideways glance at her words, his deep eyes surging with strange feelings. The next second, he got up and once again pressed down on Lyla’s body underneath. “Why, does your heart ache for me?”

Lyla rolled her eyes at him. “You’re more likable when you act proper!”

His large hands began to roam her body. Lyla slapped him fiercely a few times. “Stop messing around, alright?”

“A proper man is right on top of you. How proper do you want me to be?”

Lyla. “...I want to eat dinner!” Then, she pushed him away to go out, but before she could even get up, she was once again caught by Mark.

Lyla turned to him and met Mark’s serious eyes. “Promise me that you won’t meet them alone next time!”

Seeing his worried look, Lyla nodded in a dazed manner. “Okay!”

The corners of Mark’s mouth lifted in a smile, elegant and gorgeous. “That’s better. Good girl!” Then, he even rubbed Lyla’s head.

“Okay, let’s eat!” Then, he got up and pulled her outside.

“Since they already know that Hansel and Gretel are your children, why are they still doing this?” Lyla asked.
