“Cough, cough…” After Mark heard Gretel’s words, his mouth twitched, and he was stunned.

How could she pick up a father so casually from the street?

“What happened, Mister? Are you choking?” Gretel immediately went over and used her little hand to hit Mark’s back. She did not realize that he was coughing because of her words.

Mark suddenly felt touched.

What a thoughtful and lovable girl.

“Where’s your daddy?” Mark raised his eyebrows.

“I don’t have a daddy. I grew up with my mommy,” Gretel said softly with her head down. “My mommy works very hard.”

Mark kept quiet. He seemed to be thinking about something.

However, Gretel’s expression changed, and she said, “Anyway, you don’t have a daughter, and I don’t have a daddy. You’re lucky to get a daughter without doing anything.”

Gretel was still a child, so her mood became better instantly. She wondered if it would be fun to have identical pairs of adults and children at home. She looked exactly like her mother while her brother, Hansel, looked exactly like the handsome mister in front of her. Would it be cool if they went out together?

“Is that so?” Mark smiled slightly. “If your mommy finds out that you’ve casually picked up a daddy outside, she’d be angry, wouldn’t she?”

Gretel immediately visualized it and nodded. “I really can’t imagine the scene…”

Mark laughed.

“But my mommy is really beautiful!”

“Oh, really?”

“Yes!” Gretel did not forget to advertise Lyla. “She is five-foot-five, and she has an ideal figure. Most importantly, she’s a fair and beautiful woman who is highly educated. She also has high IQ and EQ. One would say that she is the perfect woman. Whoever marries her is lucky!” Gretel declared.

Mark laughed again.

“But you can try, Mister. Maybe you can be my daddy,” Gretel said.
