Watching Kathleen Turner’s pained look, Erica Thomson did not know what to say. She felt heart-broken and at the same time, helpless too.

Hearing Kathleen Turner’s pathetic cry, Aron Turner frowned in frustration. “What’s the use of crying now? If only you knew the consequences since the beginning, you wouldn’t have to suffer now!”

As Aron Turner shouted, Erica Thomson and Kathleen Turner did not dare to speak anything.

Aron Turner was authoritative. As such, both Erica Thomson and Kathleen Turner feared him.

Aron Turner stood in front of the window. He looked outside and thought for a moment. “Did you know who recorded the video? Kathleen Turner froze in realization. Immediately, she could relate to the woman who had visited her in the hospital. The woman had blackmailed her by asking for lots of money from her. What made her even angrier was after she had given the woman her money, the scandal still leaked out.

During these few days, she was on the brink of a mental breakdown state and had nearly forgotten about the incident. Now that her memory had been jogged, she was extremely furious.

Seeing her remaining speechless and day-dreaming, Erica Thomson looked at her and asked, “What’s the matter? Did you recall anything?”

Kathleen Turner dared not say out. Even so, both her parents already knew the truth. But still, she did not want to admit the fact that the video was recorded while she slept with another man.

Aron Turner also glanced at her, seeing her day-dreaming, he instantly knew there must be some secret hidden from them. “Say out what really happened. If you remain silent, the scandal will only continue!” Aron Turner shouted at her loudly.

With that, Kathleen Turner was startled for a while. Then, she mumbled and said, “There was a woman who came looking for me. She blackmailed me by asking for ten million…”

“Ten million?” Aron Turner was stunned when he heard of this figure, he fell speechless. “Then, did you give it to her?”

Kathleen Turner nodded.

Aron Turner looked at Kathleen Turner, what a useless thing she was, and felt like beating her to death.

“If I did not give in to her, she would have exposed the scandal!” Kathleen Turner said weakly.

If she did not give in to her, the woman would look for Mark Pattinson without hesitation…

“Who’s that woman?” Aron Turner asked.

“If I do not give the money to her, she would have told on me to Mark Pattinson on the spot. I had no choice…” Kathleen Turner said miserably.

Aron Turner was speechless again.

What else could he do since the money had been given away?

“Who’s that woman?” Aron Turner asked. No matter how, the woman must be located by all means, and doing something was way better than not doing anything at all.

However, Kathleen Turner’s reply almost caused Aron Turner to vomit blood. “…I don’t know her!”

Erica Thomson could see that Aron Turner was at his limit. She was afraid that he might beat Kathleen Turner up and quickly cut in, saying, “Alright. What’s done is done. There’s no turning back now. We’re placed in a disadvantageous position and can only obey what the others have to say!”

“If only you looked for Mark Pattinson at that time, the scandal would not have escalated to this extent…” Aron Turner shouted, “This is the product of your own teaching!”

Erica Thomson was speechless.

Despite feeling aggrieved, she did not know what to say. As such, she might as well keep quiet.

As he heard this, Aron Turner was in a slightly better mood. She was not that stupid after all!

“Quickly, go look for it!” Aron Turner said.

Kathleen Turner rose up hurriedly and went upstairs to look for the card number.

After a while, she walked downstairs and passed to Aron Turner. “This is it!”

Aron Turner took it from her. He looked at the card number and a cold smile arched across his lips. If he traced the source of this card number, he should be able to find out the person!

Hansel and Gretel went back home immediately after work.

On the way, his watch gave out a signal.
