As they heard the ruckus outside, Hansel and Gretel shared a look with each other. “I’ll go out to check!” Hansel said, his face solemn.
Gretel nodded at this.
Just then, Hansel walked outside.
“If you do not wish to die, then move out of the way!” Outside the door, Lingo said to the two bodyguards standing guard outside the door. The natural air and stance that she had around her almost felt like she was ready to pick a fight.
“Lingo?” Hansel looked at her. He showed up just in time to stop this “war” from happening.
“Why have you come?” When he saw Lingo, Hansel was rather surprised. He thought that she was still mad, so she would not show up ever again. Never did he expect her to come to the hospital.
Surprisingly, Lingo hummed. Her beauty and grace had an air of arrogance. “Why, am I not welcome?”
“No way!” Hansel immediately denied as he walked over, a flattering grin on his face. “I was just surprised that you would come!”
As she watched Hansel’s grin, Lingo had a bad feeling in her heart. However, she could not help but worry about him, that was why she came. She glanced over the men by the door. “These two won’t let me in!”
Okay! He understood why!
Hansel turned to face the two men who were standing by the door. “She’s my friend!”
The two looked at each other before they finally nodded. They were finally assured.
“Let’s go in!” Hansel said.
“Hold up!” Lingo opened up.
Hansel looked at her. “What’s wrong? Is there anything else?”
“Let’s take this to the side.” Lingo hinted to him.
Hansel gave it some thought and nodded. Then two walked aside.
Just as they walked to the side, Lingo immediately tugged on his ear.
“Ah, ow ow ow...” Hansel gritted his teeth in pain, as he squealed in pain.
“You little bastard, how dare you to cheat on my feelings. Do you want to die?” Lingo spat. Goodness knew how she survived the past two messy days. Her dream lover that she had always been hoping for was actually a few-year-old toddler. How was she going to deal with this!
This would definitely leave a mark on her lifetime.
In the future, she would definitely get teased by Orpheus and the rest. Whenever she thought of that, all she wanted was to wring this little thing to death.
“I’m sorry. It’s my fault...” Hansel quickly apologized. This was the best way to save his ears.
“So what if it was your fault?”
“Then what were you expecting?” Hansel asked with a tearful face.
“I… ” Lingo thought for a moment; she did not know either.
What could she do?
“Actually, I’m regretting this more than you are!” Hansel said.
“What is there for you to regret?”
“If I was a few years older, even if I was still two years younger than you, I would still pursue you for sure. But… I have no choice!” Hansel said, annoyed...
As he observed Lingo’s face, no man could ever resist her. So how could he not feel sorry for her? But their age gap was not just a matter of only a couple of years. He was going mad with this frustration.
“Is that true?”
“It’s true. I swear!” Hansel immediately raised a hand to the sky in an oath.
Lingo pinched his ears but did not let go, as if there was something in her mind.
When he saw that she was silent, Hansel hurriedly played coy. “Hey, Ms. Lingo. I really am sorry… I truly like you very, very much too...”
With that sweet voice his calling her Ms. Lingo, all of Lingo’s fury was away in an instant.
Even though she had blamed Hansel for not telling her the truth, but she was still very worried about him. Otherwise, she would not have rushed over the moment Piers Brion said that he could be in danger anytime.
Although he had lied to her, in her heart, she still did not wish for anything bad to befall Hansel.
Lingo narrowed her seductive cat-like eyes. “Are you for real?”
Hansel immediately nodded, that way he did not need to prove his sincerity.
Lingo squinted at him as she heard him answer, then he cocked an eyebrow. “Ok. That’s all in order then. You shall marry me!”
Hansel’s mouth fell apart immediately; he was struck dumb.
What? He did not mishear that, right?
Yet Lingo knitted her brows together as she stared at him unhappily. “Why? Are you disgusted by my age?”
Hansel quickly shook his head and said with a smile. “No way, you are beautiful and graceful. Although you are older than I am, you are still blooming and flourishing in your prime. How could I ever be disgusted by you?” Hansel said all that while smiling. His dazzling smile was charming and gentlemanly.
“That’s good. Don’t worry. I will wait till you are older!”
“But… Are you sure you want to marry me?” Hansel asked dubiously as he stared at her.
“You said you are not disgusted with me?” Lingo glared back at him. She looked like she was about to squish him to bits.
“No no no!” Hansel immediately denied it. “I’m not disgusted or turned off. I only want to confirm it!”
“You only have one choice!”
“Then I must have gotten the best end of the deal!” Hansel exclaimed, proud and delighted...
With these words, Lingo was soon happy and pleased.
“Either way, I don’t care. In the future, only I can dump you and you are not allowed to dump me. If I can’t find anyone else, then you will have to marry me!” Lingo said.
“This… Isn’t this too unfair?”
“Why? Do you have a problem with it?” Lingo questioned.
“It’s not that. I just thought that this unfair idea is pretty good too.” Hansel said sheepishly.
Then only did Lingo smile in satisfaction.
