“What’s not right about it? Ms. Collins, life’s too short. There’s nothing wrong with pursuing what you love. Moreover, it’s not your fault. Mark’s the one who came looking for you. Those two will only suffer without any feelings between them. Your only mistake was the timing to go after the person you like. What’s so wrong about that?” Ms. Davis retorted.

Taking a look inside, Delilah took a deep breath and stepped in.

Mark closed the door behind him. Nevertheless, he was not in a rush to go over. Instead, he took a moment to himself before heading in.

Delilah, on the other hand, was taken aback the moment she walked through the door.

Candles were placed all over the room and roses were displayed in a heart shape.

Delilah was tempted to ask, but she simply could not.
