Lady Cecilia agreed, “It’s a good idea. Kim started the project for us, and since she’s looking for a job now, why don’t you let her train in the company? It will be a win-win situation.”

Jessica was chewing her food, but it suddenly felt tasteless as if she was chewing on candles. She almost forgot what she was eating.

Robert and Lady Cecilia had completely blocked her out. They were pushing their son, her husband, to another woman and she could not even utter a single word.

Jessica smirked in her heart bitterly. She should have gotten used to the ignoring, but she still could not avert her gaze away. She scooped some rice into her mouth with the chopsticks and continued munching on it like she was chewing on candles.

Blake put his chopsticks down, wiped his mouth, and looked at his parents. “Dad, Mom, I’ve already arranged someone to take over the tourism project in Spain. Kim has been hired to tutor Winson. Wouldn’t it contradict her responsibility if I hire her into the company?”

“Then…” Lady Cecilia obviously did not expect this. If Kim was hired as a staff, Winson’s learning process would be affected which was not what Lady Cecilia wanted. She paused for a while and tried to rephrase her words.

Blake looked at Kim and said, “If you want to work in the company, I can offer you a position. You will have to make the decision whether you want to work or tutor Winson. I’ll respect your choice regardless.”

Kim had heard about how fierce and strict Blake was. He ran the company with an iron fist. Nevertheless, she did not expect him to be this direct, and she could tell he intentionally drew a line between them.

Since the situation had taken a swift turn, Kim could not afford to be ignorant anymore. She smiled embarrassedly. “I’m still learning Russian, and I want to continue learning a little longer. I think tutoring Winson is much more appropriate for now.”

“Mm-hmm.”
