Blake squinted his eyes slightly. He looked cold and arrogant as if he was a tyrant looking down at her. His black eyes that appeared abysmal were emanating an intimidating pressure. When he parted his thin lips, a manly voice asked, “Why are you showing your temper again?”

He pinched her chin strongly because he did not want her to move. Jessica endured the sting at her chin. She frowned but did not say anything. Instead, she averted his gaze and looked elsewhere.

‘Doesn’t he realize what he did?’

With that in mind, she took a deep breath and her swaying gaze coincidentally landed on the glass of milk.

As a matter of fact, she could have done what she was told and given him a cup of coffee. He was the one suffering from the headaches, not her, hence she did not have to care that much.

However, her days in the family were numbered, and since she had lived with him for the past two years, she had the thought of taking care of him one last time, but it seemed like her thoughtful move was unappreciated.

Whenever Jessica thought of her impending departure, her heart felt bitter. Even her mouth could almost taste the bitterness.

She bit her lip, feeling angry when she thought about what happened in the morning.

Why must she care about him? There were others who cared about him. If something happened to him, someone would come over right away just to help him with work or whatever it was.

If he fell sick right there and then, that someone would rush over and take care of him attentively.
